Lovely lobby area and things to do for kids. Food was good and everything was very clean but the rooms were TINY! We felt very cramped as bunk beds came down from the wall and left no space to walk around. NOT a family room by any stretch of the imagination!

Convenient location. With a nice indoor pool but water is a bit cold. Small rooms and will be very noisy at night if the window is facing the main road. The beds and pillow are too soft to me.

Great stay while waiting for baby

We checked in to the Scandic because it was across the street from the hospital where our daughter was to have her baby. The room was excellent will comfy beds. The food was good and the service was great. They even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate the baby's birth!

Ok but expensive

The Hotel was nice in reception, breakfast is good. The corridors are very dated and tired. The rooms are small basic and dated l, but are clean and comfortable. The hotel was expensive and didn’t live up to the cost and also there isn’t much near by in terms of restaurants other than McDonalds but there are 2 supermarkets nearby and there is a restaurant on site but we didn’t try it.

This hotel is conveniently located, clean and of a high standard. The breakfast had a great selection of items, including lactose free products. Some areas of breakfast hygiene could be improved - we saw a child licking the Nutella spoon and putting it back into the Nutella bowl on the counter and we told a staff member who did not replace the spoon but just shrugged her shoulders. The hotel has a small gym and a rather cold swimming pool. It had good amenities including plenty of towels. There is also a children’s play area outside and small playroom inside which are great for families. The lack of air conditioning lets this property down and therefore we could not give it 5 stars.

The customer service was A1 . Special shout out to Marcus who was really helpful. All the staff made us feel really welcome and even decorated the room with balloons and banners for my son's birthday - nothing was too much trouble The selection available for breakfast was vast. We only managed to eat dinner in the restaurant on our first night but what we had was excellent, good quality ingredients were used. The rooms were clean. Convenient location to catch the public transport. Highly recommend Fantastic!

My experience was very good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was delicious with a wide array of options. I ate dinner at the restaurant one night, and had an excellent meal. I slept in a room with two twin beds, and I did find them to be more narrow than what I expected, which is why I did 4 vs 5 stars.

The only thing good about the hotel was breakfast. The rooms are really dated and for a family of 4, the room is super tight. The bunk beds are so snug and shelf pops out. My son hit his head thrice!

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Der Bus ins Stadtzentrum fährt in der Nähe. Parkplatz kostenlos. Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Fugen in unserem Bad waren leider schimmlig. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.

Scandic Hvidovre har udviklet sig i en meget uheldig retning. Personalet ved receptionen var venlige men forstod ikke dansk, hvilket gav nogle gæster en del udfordringer, da engelsk heller ikke var personalets modersmål. Restauranten og baren var lukket i weekenden, hvilket gav gæsterne en fornemmelse af at Scandic ikke var interesserede i indtægten. Der var ellers rigeligt af gæster, der ville have spist der. Hotellet var desuden fyldt med gæster, der hentede øl, vin og sodavand i de to nærliggende supermarkeder. Folk vil gerne hygge sig fremfor at sidde på et kedeligt værelse, så Scandic står med rengøringen uden indtjening. Det gav en fornemmelse af at være på vandrerhjem eller lejrskole. Værelserne fremstod generelt temmelig slidte. På vores værelse hældte gulvet VÆK fra afløbet, så gulvet svømmede i vand efter brusebad. På naboens værelse kunne døren til toilettet ikke lukkes. Det er nok sidste gang vi overnatter her, for pris og kvalitet hænger ikke sammen længere.
