Rosario Hotel has Cesar who goes out of his way to please. The rooms are nice & roomy. The food at the restaurant is excellent. It was nice coming back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing.

This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which was great. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower properly. The water was often not hot in the morning. It was explained to me that they couldn't have an elevator because the power supply is unreliable, so if you have trouble with stairs as I do, I suggest you request a first floor room. Although it's a great location near to the lake, there are no cafes, restos or convenience stores close by. A bottle of water is provided on your fist day only. A snack bar at reception would be great. Despite the negatives I have no hesitation giving this hotel a five star rating.

We have stayed in numerous fabulously luxurious 5 star properties all over the world. Rosario del Lago is not rated 5 star but the staff are all 10 stars. I wrote a message the day before checkin and asked for a room with least number of steps due to my 83 year old husband's reaction to the altitude. They complied with a smile. The room was 101. It was so wonderful to stare at the lake and surrounded by loving, caring, helpful, pleasant staff. The restaurant has good food. If you do not eat meat, like us, the options are limited. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Freddie in the restaurant does beyond his call of duty. He remembered my husband's name. We spent 3 excellent days and nights in this hotel. Wifi worked great in our room. The original art work in the room was an excellent touch. Our full 100% recommendations.

We loved the hotel and the room. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Our bed was super comfortable and my husband said it was the best night of sleep he’d had in recent memory. We loved the tub, but the hot water wasn’t always available. The breakfast was great. It was truly walkable to everywhere in town. We would love to come back and wake up to views of Lake Titicaca again!

The best hotel in Copacabana, but ..

The best hotel in Copacabana, very good location, the rooms have lake view. Good infrastructure and good food. The service staff is attentive. It would be 5, but it . It doesn't have WiFi, or it does but it doesn't work. And from the staff's responses it seems like a normal situation. The WiFi, in countries like Bolivia, the hotel's WiFi is CRUCIAL, for us WiFi is more important than breakfast.

El hotel fue magnífico hace 15 años, pero no parece que hayan modificado ni renovado nada dese entonces. Baño viejo, muebles viejos y desgastados, colchones que se hunden y personal claramente pasivo y desmotivado. La mediocridad es la tónica general en este sitio. A todo eso le unes unos precios de hotel de 5 estrellas cuando realmente estás en un 3.. pues te sientes claramente estafado. Lo único bueno es la situación y las vistas al lago, pero pagar lo que pagas por eso cuando hay multitud de hoteles más baratos con las mismas vistas pues.. No lo recomiendo y no volvería

El hotel está bien pero es caro para lo que ofrecen. La habitación es grande, cama cómoda, con un pequeño balcón y exterior. El desayuno nos defraudó para el tipo de hotel y lo que habíamos pagado. Bien ubicado (no en el mismo centro, a unos 5 minutos). Ojo ! Lo que nos cobraron en el hotel no coincidía con lo que habíamos contratado en hoteles.com. Eran para dos noches 40 € de más. Nos dimos cuenta al día siguiente e hicimos reclamación. Nos cobraban un tipo de cambio de euro a boliviano que no coincidía con el oficinal. Protestamos y nos devolvieron en efectivo esos 40 € (lo correspondiente en bolivianos). El hotel está bien pero es caro para los precios que se pagan en Bolivia, para las instalaciones y servicios del hotel...
