The hosts, Roland and Anh, greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel instantly at home. Their two adorable old dogs added to the welcoming atmosphere, eagerly greeting us as we entered the property. The breakfast at Alpenhof is, without a doubt, the best we've ever had. The pastries are simply out of this world, and the fact that breakfast is cooked to order adds a personal touch that is hard to find these days. The property itself is a sight to behold. It feels like stepping into a magical kingdom, where gnomes and fairies might just be real. The beautiful garden serves as a wildlife sanctuary - it's home to rabbits, chipmunks, and an array of birds. Alpenhof offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. We stayed in the family cottage, a charming space furnished with eclectic decor and wonderful antiques. The bed was incredibly comfortable, complete with a nice heavy down cover that ensured a good night's sleep. In conclusion, our stay at Alpenhof was nothing short of magical. From the delicious breakfast to the enchanting surroundings, it's a place we'll certainly be returning to.
