"The hotel staff was wonderful and the hotel itself is a perfect small gem. Fully renovated and equipped with modern amenities it is a tremendous value with a beautiful view of the city and valley below. We look forward to a future visit!"
"Absolutely amazing!!’ The views were incredible!! We enjoyed a wonder dinner at the property, with a wine pairing that exceeded expectations. The room was very beautiful along with the views from our windows. The staff was so accommodating, my husband had a problem with his bicycle and they had someone there to help him. The gym was great and I really enjoyed every aspect of our time there."
"Amazing place, highly recommended. Don't miss dinner at the restaurant and allow them to guide you through the wine selection. Why? Because if you are in this part of the world, wine probably had something to do with it. "
"If you’re looking for a nice hotel right in the middle of this famed wine region, look no further! Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!"
"They are in a pedestrian street. Parking is in same building but access is on a different street. Call property ahead of time to coordinate check in and parking. "
"Amazing place, peaceful surpassed all our expectations.
Flávio and his wife are extremely helpful, very kind lovely people.
Would definitely recommend staying there. "

"This hotel has no idea about hospitality. The first thing we have heard when we arrived after transatlantic flight and a long night drive was:" you didn't park at the right place it's a place for stuff. We have a party so the parking lot is busy". No help was offered with luggage. Not even the idea if they could get the car keys and park the car themselves as they do in the decent hotel. So we had to drag the suitcases through the gravel parking lot.
No luggage racks in the room. So you have to put your luggage on the floor and be on your knees while unpacking and taking your stuff out. Seems like epitome of eco-friendly.
Nobody on the reception after 9:00 p.m. so if you need something go help yourself .
No fridge in the room. If you want to chill your wine or store the cheese in this cheese and wine country go help yourself.
By the way there is no phone in the room so if you want to call reception there is no way to call no matter what you need toothbrush or help.
No wine glasses in the room. When ask for 2x glasses, we were told we will be charged 5 euro per glass! 10 euro for 2 empty glasses! Yeah, hospitality! Have been traveling throughout Europe, never had been asked to pay for empty glasses! New level of "f** you" by these guys!
At 23.36 party music is coming through the window. Our room is on the opposite side of the building from the restaurant, so music is, probably, very loud. I can hardly imagine what other guests are experiencing.

Beautiful house in quiet area within walking distance of the center of Canelli
10/10 Excellent
"Elize and Ruud are super nice, friendly and caring hosts and made me feel welcome. The apartment is also very spacious, everything is newly furnished. The house is located in a green, tranquil area, has a marvelous views on the old town and Castello Gancia, yet the town of Canelli with its lovely cafes, shops and market can be reached quickly on foot. The area offers many possibilities for excursions. About 1.5 hours to Genova or 1 hour to Savona to the sea or nearby there are many hiking trails through the beautiful vineyards or cozy little towns. This time it was a short holiday, but I will definitely come back and stay with Elize and Ruud."
