"Once the best hotel in Liverpool! Now a little tired and shabby. Main areas still look good. My room, a standard double, was comfortable, but very basic, no overhead lights, just two table lamps. Wallpaper peeling off wall and ceiling in some places. Extraction fan in bathroom not working."
"Beautiful hotel and great location. We stayed for our daughter’s graduation and our rooms were ready early for us to get ready in. Staff always friendly. Bit of a mix up with our food but the food we had and cocktails were great. Stayed here a few times as also dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend it."
"The hotel is tucked away behind a wall around the property and across the road from the new Dickinson Hill stadium. Staff were brilliant, the place is massive inside, cavernous passages and awesomely huge rooms. The on site restaurant was great, food was very good and the bar well stocked and served by very polite staff. We will definitely stay there again."
"Rooms where clean and staff was very friendly with a great location. A little difficult to reach staff before check-in time (11am), but this doesn't take away from the overall experience significantly in my opinion."
