Great location and friendly staff. Some of the decor could do with updating and the shower was unusually complex to use. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and I would recommend.

Gorgeous location and the beds are really comfortable but for the price the rooms are tired and drinking water should be provided in the room. One wonderful smiley waitress but the rest of the staff need to appreciate the customer experience and customer perspective much, much more.

The hotel was fabulous, it’s right by a lake and is decorated beautifully. The staff were very friendly, especially the lovely guy who checked us in and was looking after the floor during the evening - so helpful!

Room was clean and a good size, over the bath shower. Lakeside view was lovely. Peaceful stay in a quiet hotel. Breakfasts were hearty, fresh and locally sourced Cumberland sausages. Sunday roast good but the deserts were a disappointment. Overall happy we will be back to stay again

A free drink instead of room service is an excellent idea. Guests really don’t need room service every day if staying multiple nights and, if so minded, can fold the ends of their toilet paper into little triangles themselves!
