Hotel room was clean, breakfast was good with a good selection, pool was clean and staff friendly and helpful.

we were so excited to celbrate an anniversary here and saved to afford the one night stay. Travelling back from Watchett we had hoped for a little luxury but found ourselves in the middle (despite the huge house) of a massive wedding which literally ruined the stay. I love a good wedding so not to be sad about that, we were pleased for the hasppy couple etc and happy to make our break alongside, but the mix of not being served in the atrium as not one of the guests to overcrowded leisure facilties and then no retreat even into our own room on 3rd floor which had no air con, so with the Very loud banging shall we say music continuing on through our slightly open windows which we couldnt close due to air con and no hlep from staff on desk when approached in fact no reply at all to the issues, we eventually checked out just before midnight. The duty manager who had just checked in did apologise and his collague had said he would write us an email the next day. So far no sign nor notification in Hotel.com app. So, all in all one very disappointing stay here Im afraid. I hope the read this and make note. I did have a lovely irish coffee made for me in the bar so not all horrid, but we did leave very disappointed and tired. Regards Sue and Ian Stokes

Upon arrival the room was relatively clean and straightened out nicely. Decorated to an OK standard. However, the room itself was absolutely sweltering and could've done with a fan or a portable air conditioning unit. I had to open both the windows wide to let some cool air in.....which unfortunately let the screaming and shouting from outside in too. But hey, I've booked something in the heart of student land so that's sort of on me as well! As far as cleanliness goes....look a little closer you'll see things aren't so great and definitely lacks attention to detail in that are. Not the worst but certainly not the best. It looks like shower gel, handwash and shampoo were provided once upon a time but now all that remain are empty containers. This is such a basic thing so either do it or don't. Kitchenette area was reasonably clean with utensils, plates bowls and a dishwasher provided. Overall, it was OK but could do better. It seems like somebody has lost interest in it!

Excellent hotel, we loved it - only confusion is around where to park.
