Holy Bat in the house
My family recently stayed at this property. We were very excited about the property and specifically selected the home because it had two king beds and two bathrooms. The pictures of the property looked lovely and the reviews were very good. We arrived on July 4th, checked in and thought everything was going to be great for our 7 night stay. However, on the first night, we discovered there was a bat in the master bedroom, it was flying around the room and swooping and squeaking! We immediately reached out to the manager and were told, "to close the bedroom door and not stay in the room". (For our own safety) This was understandable for the first night, as it was late and also July 4th. The management company, told us "it would be rectified the next day", but to no avail. Then we were told the situation would be rectified on Monday and the vendor would arrive between 5-6PM, again nobody showed up. After sleeping on the sofa and the full sized bed in the third bedroom, my husband reached out and asked if he could stuff wash clothes into the crevice where the bat was sleeping during the day. The representative said, "yes" that would be good and that someone would be out on Thursday to take care of the situation. Nobody showed up. We voiced our disappointment, our frustration and the fact that I would not sleep in the room or use the master bathroom. This is not acceptable and most disappointing. There is so much more ! Not Luxury!
