The house was very clean and comfortable. linens were super soft and cozy - great bedding the master bedroom. the kitchen was also great, had fantastic appliances, and had all the necessary items to make a great morning brew which is much appreciated before hiking. I thought this house was great and look forward to staying again if I'm ever in the area. The host is also great, communicative, and shared many helpful details in advance of us getting into the accommodations.
Perfect place. Beautifull. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful view of river. So relaxing. Check in very easy, check out instructions very simple. I would definatly come back.
Beautiful peaceful property. The view of the river in the area is amazing. We enjoyed watching coyotes play on the riverbank in the morning and saw a bald eagle. The house had everything we needed and more. we appreciated the extra touches like the coffee, sugar cream, all of the spices and the beautiful views from several different areas of the house and property.
This property was above and beyond one of the best. Its location was beautiful (literally right on the Skagit River), private (quiet, cannot see neighbors), close to hiking, incredibly well stocked (even with coffee, sharp knives, corkscrew) and the beds and pillows were super comfy! Elke was very communicative, I only had a few questions and she answered very promptly. And the backyard had frisbee golf and badminton!!

Check in/check out was easy and streamlined and communication with the host was hospitable with quick response. The home exceeded our expectations. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and our group got excellent sleep. The family room had very comfortable seating as well with a nice smart tv (although we only watched youTube), along with games and puzzles. The home was clean and the entire property was fenced.
We stayed here as our base camp for hikes in the North Cascades area. For reference, North Cascades Pass to Sahale Arm was an hour and twenty minutes away. With the Maple Pass area being about an hour and thirty five minutes away. A great location for us.
At the end of our trip we were sad to go, a good sign! We would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful place. We only stayed one night as we traveled to North Cascades NP but it would be a lovely place to stay for days. We even saw an elk!
This property was one of the best experiences ever! Waking up in the mornings seeing Elk in the river to making pizzas in the amazing pizza oven, this property has it all! Would hands down give it 5 stars!!!

This was my first time to North Cascades, Jays Salmon Run Retreat was a perfect fit for myself and my group. Was clean and came with many amenities. The host was easy to get ahold of and always returned my messages. The back yard was adorable. Wish there wasn't a fire ban or else we would have loved to have sit out there. I highly recommend this stay.
