"The Pfister Hotel has a lot of history in Milwaukee and is recognized as one of the most historic hotels in America. The hotel has a lot of character. I used the valet service to park my car. They were courteous and punctual. The lobby is currently undergoing construction so I was unable to see the entire decor and beauty in the pictures. My concern was the fact the one of the elevators was out of service causing guests to have a long walk to the second one...not so great for older guests. The floors on this second elevator and the floors in the area of swimming pool were very wet and very slippery which could be dangerous to guests. We expected a microwave in the room but there was not one...again creating a problem for older guests who did...
