Upon entering, you will be greeted by a modern environment, where a comfortable sofa invites you to relax in front of a large TV, where you can watch films in company after a day of sightseeing. In the same space is a round dining table for four. An additional piece of furniture provides storage space. The kitchen, white with a wooden worktop, is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners. A painting depicting Torno, one of the picturesque villages on Lake Como, adds a touch of originality and invites you to visit: from the centre of Como you can reach Torno by boat in just 15 minutes! The living room overlooks the balcony furnished with table and chairs, perfect for enjoying moments of relaxation in the open air. The flat has two bedrooms: a double room and a twin room with two single beds. Both rooms are simply and functionally furnished, with coat racks and drawers for storage. The elegant bathroom, embellished with white marble and the wood of the modern washbasin countertop, is equipped with a washer/dryer and has a spacious shower with a wall decorated with blue floral motifs. Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided. We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is available. The flat has a private garage (GARAGE 5: H 1,90 x W 2,55 x L 5,27 m). Smoking is prohibited. All commercial activity is forbidden inside the flat. Stroll along the Diga Foranea (breakwater), reaching the modern artwork 'The Life Electric' by the famous Libeskind! Continue along the lakefront to Viale Geno, its park and villa. At the beginning of Viale Geno is the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a panoramic trek to the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you'll encounter along the way. A 30-minute walk or a few minutes by bus (bus stop below the flat) will bring you to the centre of Como and you can stroll through its cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. You will admire the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city. In just a few minutes you arrive in Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna). How to get there: By car: From the A9 motorway take the "Como - Monte Olimpino" exit at the first roundabout take the first exit and continue on "Via Bellinzona". At the second roundabout take the second exit. In 4 minutes you will be in front of the flat, which is on the left hand side. By public transport: When you arrive at the "Como San Giovanni Station" go to the stop "Como - S. Ronchetto" and take the bus N.1 direction "Como-Recchi" for 7 stops and get off at the stop "Como- Roncate (Villa Aprica)". there you will find yourself in front of the flat. Or you can walk to the "Como Lago Station", walk to the stop "Stazione Lago" and take the bus N.7 direction "Como- lungolario trento", get off after 10 stops at the stop "Como - Ceresio (Bixio)".
