Upon entering, you will find yourself in a spacious living room with tiled floors and a comfortable leather sofa, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The stone TV wall and the wood in the exposed beams lend a rustic touch to the room. The kitchen, which is separate from the living room, is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, and offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals. The flat has two modern-style bedrooms, both with parquet floors. The first bedroom has a double bed and a mirrored wardrobe, and overlooks a balcony offering a private outdoor space. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, and the large window gives plenty of light to the room. Decorated in an elegant shade of purple, it also has a spacious wardrobe. The bathroom is functional and well furnished, complete with WC and shower. For maximum comfort, the flat is equipped with a washing machine and air conditioning in the rooms, ensuring a pleasant stay in all seasons. Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided. We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Any commercial activity inside the flat is forbidden. Free Wi-Fi available. The flat does not have a private car park, but there are public car parks a short distance away. Access: Please note that you will enter the flat by performing a SELF CHECK-IN. In case of need, our customer service team is ready to assist you from 8am to 10pm via phone, email or WhatsApp. Nearby: The location of CIELO APARTMENT allows you to visit the entire city centre on foot. Located in one of the main streets of the historic centre, opposite the Coin building, there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants just below the flat. In 2 minutes you can reach Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna). In 1 minute you can also reach Piazza Duomo and its Broletto, and shopping streets such as Via Vittorio Emanuele. Other squares worth visiting are only a 5-minute walk away, such as Piazza San Fedele and Piazza Volta, the latter of which has become a major meeting point for the city's evening life in recent years with its many restaurants and bars. Also on foot, or by renting city bikes, one can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by taking the lakeside promenade of Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno there is also a funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse. How to get there: By car, from the A9 motorway take the Como Centro exit and drive along Via Pasquale Paoli, Via Napoleona and Viale Innocenzo to reach the centre, or take the Como Lago exit and drive along Via per Cernobbio and Via Borgovico Nuova, from the motorway exit in about 20 minutes following the GPS you will be in front of the flat. You can park in the blue parking spaces (for a fee from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.) or in the city car parks (Autosilo Parcheggio Centro Lago, Autosilo Valduce, etc.). This blew the main circuit breaker (not the one in the apartment). After about 30 minutes of calling/texting with the property management company, they told me to go down to the first floor and find the closet that holds all the main breakers for the apartment building. The closet was a death trap (highly cluttered blocking access to the breakers, which is a code violation). I managed to reset the breaker, but this was ridiculous. If you google "is blowing a main breaker an issue", you get the following summary:Yes, a tripped main breaker is definitely an issue. It means there's a problem with the electrical system, and it should be investigated by a qualified electrician. A tripped main breaker can indicate a serious problem, like a short circuit, ground fault, or an overloaded circuit. Repeatedly resetting the breaker without addressing the underlying issue can be dangerous and potentially lead to a fire. The property management company tried to blame us (e.g., improperly inserting a plug in an outlet).In addition, the internet was not functional. The property management company said they could get that fixed in about day.We promptly left and checked into a hotel and I am trying to get my money back. This place is a potential death trap.
