The flat, located in a brand new building, is distinguished by its contemporary style and high-quality finishes. The entrance leads into a bright living room paved with large grey tiles, giving it a refined and cosy look. In the same room is a large sofa that becomes a comfortable double bed for the night. (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we think it is only fair that you use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf most adjacent to the sofa), perfect for hosting friends or family, positioned in front of a flat-screen TV for relaxing moments. A dining table for four completes the living area, ideal for convivial lunches and dinners. On the wall behind the table, a painting depicting the village of Lenno on Lake Como adds an artistic and local touch to the ambience. The kitchen, in the same open space, is furnished in shades of grey and white and fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, including a dishwasher, to ensure maximum comfort and practicality. The living room leads onto a balcony furnished with two chairs and a small table, perfect for enjoying an al fresco breakfast or an evening aperitif. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a large wardrobe for convenient storage. The modern, tiled bathroom is equipped with a toilet and a shower with a decorated wall, providing a pleasant and functional environment. In addition, there is a practical washer-dryer. Lenno Lario Suite is air-conditioned, ensuring an ideal climate in every season. Quality bed linen, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast. Free Wi-Fi available. The flat does not have a private car park, but there are several public car parks in the vicinity. Stroll along the Foranea Dam, reaching the modern artwork ‘The Life Electric’ by the famous Libeskind! Continue along the lakefront to Viale Geno, its park and villa. At the beginning of Viale Geno is the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a scenic trek to the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way. A 30-minute walk or a few minutes by bus (bus stop below the flat) will bring you to the centre of Como and you can stroll through its cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. You will admire the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city. Also in a few minutes you arrive in Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna). How to get there: By car: From the A9 motorway take the ‘Como - Monte Olimpino’ exit at the first roundabout take the first exit and continue on ‘Via Bellinzona’. At the second roundabout take the second exit. In 4 minutes you will be in front of the flat, which is on the left hand side. By public transport: When you arrive at the ‘Como San Giovanni Station’ go to the stop ‘Como - S. Ronchetto’ and take the bus N.1 direction ‘Como-Recchi’ for 7 stops and get off at the stop ‘Como- Roncate (Villa Aprica)’. there you will find yourself in front of the flat. Or you can walk to the ‘Como Lago Station’, walk to the stop ‘Stazione Lago’ and take the bus N.7 direction ‘Como- lungolario trento’, get off after 10 stops at the stop ‘Como - Ceresio (Bixio)’.
