It awaits you a few steps from the historic center and next to the ancient Porta Torre, a magnificent example of medieval military architecture. Apartment was beautiful, great location (near Old Town, train station), and host Stefania was extremely accommodating. Lots of great places to eat nearby (Stefania will provide recos). Host also provided a welcome gift of wine and snacks. We used the garage which was a couple of blocks away. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Como ##### Richard M. Walking distance to everything....cafes, restaurants, supermarket and public transport (we didn't have a car). Lake Como is only a 15min walk through the old city walls. Alfredo and Stefania are very kind and helpful hosts and easily contactable for any help required. They made our stay very comfortable. Would happily come back and stay again 🙂 ##### MANDY M.
