"Good communication from the host and they responded quickly to resolve an issue we had with the bedding, which we appreciated. The place is well-priced and in a convenient, central location. However, there were a few downsides. The air conditioning in the lounge didn’t work effectively, and the jacuzzi developed an unpleasant smell by the second day of use. Cleanliness could be improved, as we noticed a hair under the bedding when attempting to change it, suggesting more attention to detail is needed. Amenities were quite limited - no facial tissues or paper towels, no milk or coffee, and only a small amount of tea. Additionally, there were no spare towels beyond one per guest or extra bedding/blankets readily available, we had to request additional items during our stay. Overall, good value for the location, but could be improved with better maintenance and more attention to basic amenities."

"Parking very easy. Double glazing cut road noise BUT Very noisy inefficient AC , temp fluctuated. Bathroom had mould and smelt bad. The freezer was iced up so unusable. Disappointing"

"We stayed in the family room with 3 young children. Bedlinen was clean but there are parts of the room which looks like it hasnt been cleaned for a long time, such as big spiderwebs near the blinds, thick layer of dust on a bar behind the toilet. The towels were fresh everyday and they empty out the bin as well. "

"Really enjoyable stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and felt secure, and there were plenty of shops and food options nearby which made everything convenient. Would definitely stay again"

"2nd time at the Archer. Older hotel spacious and clean. Nice breakfast plus drink vounchers for the Tavern that is within walking distance that we used that night. "

"Definitely needs a lift… very dated, old fashioned and just unloved. Bathroom small, pokey and really outdated shower head. Basin top, toilet roll holder fixings etc need renewing. "

"The cottage was beautiful! It was situated deep into the bush and Anne was very helpful with directions.Surrounded by nothing but nature.The cabin itself seems to be a converted train carriage. Very clever renovations and styling.I'd go back in a heart beat."
