"Staff was very helpful"

"It was a fantastic visit. The property is in a nice location in the middle of everything we wanted to do, but not so hectic that we struggled to find parking or had to fight traffic to get there. Staff was extremely pleasant and greeted us on every passing. The layout of the rooms was also great. We traveled with an 11 year old who loved the modern shaped pull out sofa."

"The staff at this hotel was excellent and very hospitable and was the highlight of my experience staying there. They offered complimentary water bottles at check in and had a message on the TV to welcome us when we got to our room. They were attentive and very nice throughout our stay. The room furniture was really nice looking. The desk proved to be the perfect table for my 2 year old to use her coloring books. The other little desk in the room was perfect height for a makeshift changing table. The bathroom unfortunately did not have a tub like was listed in the expedia listing, just a shower (only care because we have a young child). There was no fan in the bathroom. The room was mostly clean but we did find an empty condom wrapper behind the chair. I would say the 2 biggest pain points for me was the bed/pillows were very uncomfortable and made it hard to sleep. And the second being that I thought the breakfast was not as great as previous reviews had claimed- in particular a lot of the fruit that was out had gone bad, the yogurt left out was warm, and other food options did not taste very great. But I felt the waffle maker was my go to during my stay and did not disappoint. The eating area was abnormally dim. We noticed that the elevator was not heated and the other elevator has been broken for a long time. Overall the staff was the highlight of our experience and the stay itself was very average with some pain points, but we are grateful for the stay."

"Great room size, plenty of space for luggage and to relax, with a generous bed and amenities to match. Staff/Reception were very friendly and courteous and made us feel very welcome. Parking was also a huge bonus with plenty of spaces all day round. Will definitely keep here in mind for next time! Thanks Wyndham Avon! "

"Entire hotel seemed very clean and well taken care of. We also liked that the staff was attentive in the pool/hot tub area and made sure that anyone under the age of 18 wasn't in the hot tub when they weren't supposed to be. Much easier to relax when you don't have to deal with kids that aren't supposed to be in there to begin with splashing around and screaming. Would definitely stay here again. "

"It was an older hotel. The shower handle wobbled like it was about to fall off.thr pool area was dirty. I asked the front desk lady for towels and she said she puts them in the pool area. I went back in and they were none. I asked her again and she said she already gave someone in the pool area towels. But there were still no towels. The entryway smelled bad like pot. I think next time we'll stay somewhere else. "

"Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing due to the unacceptable cleanliness of both rooms we were given. The first room was visibly unsanitary- the floor was sticky, and there were crumbs, dirt, hair, and general filth throughout. We reported this to the front desk and were given a key to another room. The staff member did not inspect the new room or verify that it was clean, and unfortunately, the second room was just as dirty as the first. Given the condition of both rooms, I contacted corporate immediately, as it was evident that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. After doing so, the manager emailed us with statements that were blatantly false. They claimed they had shown us the second room and that we confirmed it was satisfactory, neither of which happened. They also stated we waited several hours to raise our concerns, when in reality I notified the front desk within 15 minutes, and called corporate within 15 minutes of entering the second room. Not only was the property in unacceptable condition, but the manager chose to provide inaccurate information rather than address the issue professionally. I have escalated this matter again to corporate, though I am not confident any meaningful action will be taken. If you are looking for a clean, well-maintained room, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. We skipped the free breakfast, as we did not trust the food's cleanliness given the overall lack of sanitation observed at the motel."
