Peaceful location, close to Uptown, groceries, shopping and restaurants, near Otterbein College, Hoover Reservoir and Inniswood Metro Gardens, or just relax and take a walk across the street to Olde Town Park. You'll also find the Ohio to Erie trail a short walk away where you can hike or bike south to the Ohio River or north to Lake Erie if you're into adventure. Uptown boasts 4th Friday Street Festivals during the summer, visit the many restaurants and shops or just enjoy a dip of ice cream at Graeters, a glass of wine at Good Vibes or a Beer at Old Bag of Nails, or maybe take in Concerts in the Park at Alum Creek North Park near Otterbein campus. It is perfectly stocked with everything you could need to have a relaxing getaway. I used the amazing kitchen everyday, the bathroom upstairs is a dream and the bed was so comfortable. We were here for 10 days as a working vacation. The porch is perfect to watch the deer and wildlife in the beautiful park across the street. Parking is super easy and private. The most thoughtfully appointed rental I’ve ever stayed in by far. Everything was easy to locate and instructions were clear. We only missed a full length mirror but that was minor. Having a family member with mobility issues, I always add any considerations for those travelers. In this case, the beds are HIGH. Stools are provided but could be unsafe depending on ability to transition in/out of bed or for some children. Won’t affect the vast majority but worth mentioning as I’d want to know in advance. During our visit, our mother sadly passed away, and we needed to extend our stay. Gary, the owner, was exceptionally helpful and compassionate throughout this difficult time, making the process of extending our stay smooth and stress-free.The property itself is outstanding. It's within walking distance to downtown Westerville, and there’s a convenient path in the other direction leading to Giant Eagle. A lovely park is also located just across the street.The house is beautifully maintained, with outstanding beds and very comfortable couches—both rare qualities in many rental homes.This is a wonderful property, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. ##### Ben R. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were fully equipped and included many extras to make a guest feel welcome such as tissues in every room, adequate toilet paper, cards, games,books and cozy blankets for the chilly nights. Highly recommend this property which was located within easy walking distance of several excellent restaurants and shops. Located directly across from a small park on a very quiet street.
