On November 8, I received an e-mail from a 3rd party entity (not the owner but allegedly an agent of the owner) demanding that I deliver a photo ID alongside a copy of my credit card via email. I believed it was a scam and refused to deal with anyone in such a manner who was not the owner or VRBO. We canceled and had to stay at a hotel.
