The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Very clean, quiet, and well appointed. Excellent proximity to a beautiful park (Goodale Park - where we saw our first every white squirrel!) and plenty of dining a short 15 min walk away. My wife and I got plenty of steps in during our stay. Very close to CVS and what is now one of my favorite grocery stores: Lucky's Market. If we are every in Columbus again, will not hesitate to book this location again. ##### Joseph D.
