The location is ideal for visiting the Seymour area. The photos online are not accurate depictions of the room I got. Very disappointed in the condition of the property.

Worst night of my life.
The staff was not friendly upon arrival. Never did they mention of Wi-Fi password or breakfast in AM. Room reaked of smell of smoke even though suppose to be non-smoking. Hole in wall, needed painting. Plug in bathroom didn't work. Bathtub was questionable when cleaned last ? Outside appearance was awful. Sink was nasty. All of our clothes had this awful smell until we could wash. I would not expect a Days Inn to be in this condition for the price. Very dissatisfied. Staff didn't ask before leaving if had any problems. I would expect Expedia to be aware of the property you represent. I know I wouldn't want this type of representation.

i really apologize you did not enjoy your stay. We are under new management and in the process of upgrading the hotel and rooms. We are putting in new sinks. We would like to know what room you stayed in so we can check it because we thought all rooms had been installed with new granite sinks. We hope you give us another chance in the future after all remodeling has been done. I apologize on behalf of the staff, we have hired some new employees and they are still in the process of learning

Had to go to the front desk 3 days in a row to get my room key reset in a 5 day stay.

we apologize for the inconvenience but we program our keys one day at a time so if the key is lost, another person cannot find it and use it to gain entrance into any guest rooms.

Will not repeat a stay here.
The door on the room looked as if someone had jimmied it before. Stayed 2 nights and came back Saturday to no electricity in the bathroom. Took forever to get it fixed. Sunday needed more towels, only one person had keys to get in wherever they were, so it took an hour or so to get them. Not an experience I want to have again.

sorry you had a bad experience at our hotel. The staff members are still in training because we are under new management. And the staff member that had access to the laundry room for the towels was at a meeting out of town

Were given rooms that hadn't been cleaned, one right after the other and the staff had the first room which was a mess magically cleaned in 5 minutes....ugh!

we really apologize you for all this problems and we was really busy and we had that guest check out at end movement because of there trip got cancelled so they check out . we are the new owner of the property and we are working on renovation and that day we receive new headboards and other stuff so they were trying to change it out so guest get a better place .we want to change out everything out soon as possible and provide a better service to everyone. once again i really apologize and please give us another chance so we can provide a better service than this

Old hotel, could use a remodel.
The sheets here did not seem clean and neither did the bathroom floor mat. This hotel needs a remodel. The walls were patchy and holes not repaired well. Though the price was inexpensive, I expected better from a Day's Inn.

we apologize for all the problems you had at the hotel but we are the new owner and we are working on changing everything out and repair everything but need little time and all of your guys help so that why we rent rooms out and let the guest know that we are in progress of working but we need money to do all this .so please give us a another chance for it and we would like to see you guy back again so we can get chance to provide you a better service

New management working on improvements.
I enjoyed my stay and encountered no problems at all. This property is under new ownership, and they are working hard to make improvements. Some reviews may be from before they took over. I found everything to be good in the room I was in ( I didn't try the TV, but it was a nice HD flat screen ).The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was decent ( nothing fancy, but certainly enough- coffee, cereal, toast, and donuts/ mini muffins ). The wifi worked fine for me as well.

Bathroom needs a gut job
Main room was fine. The bathroom had a water damage floor with loose tiles. Toilet tank in room 115 had the wrong tank lid. The light fan combo made a grinding loud noise when on. Wife would not take a shower and said we could never stay at another Days Inn.

You Get What You Pay For
At check in, the young woman simply asked for my name then told me our room number. The room needed swept, frig needed wiped out and coffee maker did not work.The heat control was in need of calibration. And the local directory wad mixed with what appeared to be personal notes and not much directory left The bed was comfortable. Probably wont stay at Days Inn again.

Seymour Indiana Days Inn
Hotel staff were very nice and pleasant, check in was very easy and coffee was hot in the morning. The only issue that I had at this location was the door lock on the room entrance was not locking properly. I shut the door to go out and eat dinner and came back to see that the latch mechanism had not engaged. I tested the lock and found that the lock would only work if you locked the deadbolt. Other than the lock, everything else was in proper working order. Seymour Indiana is a very welcoming town and friendly people. Would recommend a visit to this area and especially would recommend a trip to Brown County State Park.

When we got to the hotel they gave us a roommate that wasn’t even cleaned yet and stunk so bad! And we got a new room. To come to find out there was any sort everywhere , cockroaches in the bathroom and blood drippings on the toilet paper! It was the worst experience of my entire life! Extremely disappointed

So many bugs!
I have stayed at Days Inn many times, but never in one so bad. Indifferent teenager at check in, the room door wouldn't latch easily, the faucet wouldn't turn off, the room had a funky odor, there were multiple roaches in the bathtub/shower and various other bugs crawling around. Outside, they were replacing the metal rails holding up the awning with wood landscaping timbers. How can that be up to code?! Nobody wanted to shower, even after a long hot day because of the bugs. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting!

My husband and I did not even sleep at this hotel. our room was musty, moldy, the towels were not clean. We checked out 15 minutes after checking in. never again will I book this hotel again

The room had black mold, dirty, and had dirty linens. There were a bunch of ants in our room. We told the front desk at check out and the gentleman didn't seem to even care. We will NEVER stay here again.

You get what you pay for!
Cotinental breakfast was a joke, wallpaper was striping off every wall, bathroom sink counter was pulling away from wall, bathroom sink was not laying in counter correctly. bathroom tub was all stained, the outdoor pool had no water in it (in the middle of July), and the room smelled like smoke when it was supposed to be a non smoking room.

Old hotel that was dirty. We checked in at 10pm and they were cleaning our room when we walked in. We were given a smoking room-which I requested non smoking. Sheets were stained-sink leaked onto floor, tub knobs were broken. You get what you pay for! Do not stay here!

We book our rooms here because it said they have a outdoor pool. They did, but it did not have any water in it. I do not believe it ever will. A pool should not be advertised if it is not operational. The ice machine did not work. The office had bagged ice and the guy at the desk in the morning was rude and did not want to give us any ice. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave.Not the worse place I have ever stayed, but its pretty high on the list. Because of the pool and ice machine this place should be a 1 star property. After this experience, I would call the place before booking to make sure their description of the property is correct.

Consider staying somewhere else.
I guess for what price we paid, we shouldn't have expected much. But if you say you have a pool...it should have water in it in mid-late June! Our first room smelled like an ashtray, the sheets in my parents room had burned holes in them, the rails that our bed was on stuck out about 2" just right for scraping your shins on as you walk by, there was a hole in the wall in the main room and a hole in the door to the bathroom. Completely run-down.

Nice and cheap
Our room was clean and smelt nice, the beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The bathroom was fine, a few broken tiles but that didn't matter much. The breakfast wasn't anything special, just some coffee juices and breads. The pool is out of order, but you can easily walk over to the Econolodge next door and use their pool. We stayed for two night and didn't see any bugs (-: Overall, we had a great stay and it was definitely worth the price.

Typical Motel off I-65 (Seymour, IN)
Located to attract I-65 drivers between Louisville, KY and Indianapolis, IN. Basic accommodations (no restaurant). Restaurants (other than McDonalds) require driving to other side of interstate into Seymour proper. Somewhat difficult to access. On access road which is a switch back from Route 50 (no sign) - a shared access with a major truck service area. Room comfortable and clean. Needs power outlets for alarm clock next to bed and at desk for personal electronic devices. Existing outlets all used for microwave, refrigerator, lights, tv, etc. Reasonable rates for what you get. Rooms on back side opposite the interstate are quiet.

This hotel was awful sink was broke no water in the pool like we were expecting after a hard day of playing softball toilet would not flush and ran all night long washer was broke had to wash clothes in the tub outside looked dirty inside was decent the pictures on the website are not even close to what it is really like it's not that nice desk people were not helpful the nice breakfast we were planning on having was two kinds of cereal one donut out and it looked like it had been sitting there a month toast NO HOT FOOD AT ALL no waffles no eggs no sausage nothing terrible very disappointed

Booked a King room with hot tub and was given a full with a jacuzzi. Found wrappers behind the end table when plugging in my phone charger. When when my husband turned on the lights to start to fill the jacuzzi tub he seen a cockroach coming out from behind the mirror. Went back to the office and requested a refund and left for somewhere else to stay.

First room I was given had black mold on the bathroom door, almost dirt floor looking, huge holes in the bedspreads. No remote, could not shut the curtains. The heater sounded like a threshing machine running and set on 75 was pumping out cold air. I concluded it was an hourly rate room. Was given another room and was at least tolerable. Would have stayed elsewhere but no rooms to be had for miles around.

Your people said it had been fully renovated.....Well thats really funny. The old wallpaper peeling off in the bathroom area, the shocking finish around the basin. The bed was the worst I have ever seen ( could not sleep - kept rolling into the middle. The stairway outside up to the room was filthy dirty as was the outside passageway

Unfortunate
The stay was tolerable until my wife was awakened at 04:00 with something crawling on her. It was not a bed bug! There were renovations being done, and anytime renovations are being done in a building insects move around. We got out of the bed and showered to leave. The water did not drain, which means we were standing in water as we showered. The staff was accommodating, but I will never again take a room where construction is going on.
