The open concept living, dining and kitchen has plenty of seating for your family and friends. The guest bathroom is spacious and shared by the two queen guest bedrooms. There is a laundry room and a spacious king size main bedroom suite at the rear of the house complete with a walk-in closet, large bath with an equally large shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room. The main bedroom also has a Roku TV This house was recently renovated and added onto and is a very large feeling 1,700 square feet. Classic comfortable furniture and decor fill the home with a hint of USC Gamecock pride and good old fashioned southern charm. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the front covered porch overlooking the quiet neighborhood with parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway and free parking on the street. The living, dining, and kitchen are open concept with an internet enabled RokuTV (no cable), seating for 6 at the dining table and an additional 4 at the kitchen peninsula. The brand new kitchen is packed with supplies, making a homemade meal is no problem here. The guest bathroom is split with a sink and linen closet in the first space and the toilet and shower in the next (there is no tub in the house). There are two queen size bedrooms, one is slightly larger than the next but each have spacious closets and new bedding. The hallway leading to the rear of the house has a laundry room with mini fridge, iron and ironing board along with laundry supplies and the hot water heater. The remainder of the home is dedicated to the king size main bedroom suite. The bedroom is large and airy with four windows, a navy upholstered king bed, bedside tables, lamps, dressers, and a 43" RokuTV (no cable). There is a large walk-in closet, separate linen closet, and a spacious private main bathroom with a large shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room. A door off of the hallway leads to the fenced-in back yard where you will find an outdoor table with seating for 4 and a propane BBQ grill. The yard is a work in progress and future updates are planned. The shed in the yard is not for guest use. I am available by Airbnb app, text or phone during your stay. My husband David and I live nearby as well. The house is close to the University of South Carolina and Williams-Brice Stadium. Williams-Brice Stadium - 1.7 miles, 4 minute drive University of South Carolina - 1.8 miles, 5 minute drive Fort Jackson Visitor's Center - 5.9 miles, 11 minute drive Riverbanks Zoo & Botanical Garden - 5.9 miles, 13 minute drive Car is the dominant mode of transportation in Columbia but it's easy to get a taxi service, Uber or Lyft. There is also a city bus service called The COMET. Please note: Since photos were taken, we may have had to replace bedframes or other furniture items due to wear & tear and damage from other guests. \*Please note this property has a $500 refundable deposit that is charged at the time of reservation. \* The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser. No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund. You must be 25 years of age or older in order to book one of our homes. While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion. Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without refund. No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio. No illegal substances or activities on the premises. Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages. If the property is left in an unusually dirty condition that requires deep cleaning beyond our standard turnover, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra housekeeping costs. Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule. Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment. Comfortable for the four of us and bigger than it looks. The neighborhood looks like it is in the process of turning over and will be a good rental neighborhood. A couple suggestions: add more home comforts like spices, trash bags, zip locks, aluminum foil etc.. The bedding though very comfortable could have used at least head boards and would have softened the the tasteful decor. I visited for the weekend and decided to rent a house and give her a sense of home rather than staying in a hotel. She and her girlfriends loved the break from the dorms and I was able to cook for them and relax and enjoy their company. It was a fantastic weekend. Highly recommend this property. Bed bugs and unaccomodating management Check in was easy. However, the first night I was awoken by the bed bugs that were feasting on me in my sleep. When the property management company was contacted at 7:30 the next morning they were quick to send out an exterminator. After speaking to the exterminator he apprised us that the previous renter had expressed concern that the bedroom had bed bugs. Low and behold TWO nests were discovered under the mattress. I was told by the property company that we would be unable to use that bedroom for the remainder of our stay. I asked to be rebooked elsewhere but was told there was nothing available as their long term tenants had not yet decided if they would be extending their stay. As we were in town for my sons family day (Army) and graduation we were forced to rebook at a different property because we had 5 people (soon to be 6 with the Army soldiers father flying in later that evening) and only 2 available beds. The management refunded the unused nights but offered no discount on the two nights we were forced to sleep 5 people in only 2 beds. Nor was VRBO willing to refund the $103 booking fee even though we had to pay an additional booking fee to reserve new accommodations. This property and any other property managed by this company should be avoided at all costs. Disappointing customer service. ##### Sara P.
