"It was such a lovely stay in the wagon. Location was great, in the middle of Grand Teton and Yellowstone NP. The cafe right next to it had great food too. Overall, I’d stay here again when I return to this beautiful city!"

"Okay, I don’t think we fully even realized what a gem we had booked until we got there. We stayed in a cabin (which are historic, 100 year old cabins!), and they are absolutely adorable. Our family of four had a one bedroom with our own bathroom, it had two double beds and a twin bed. It was immaculately clean, and seriously one of the most darling places we have stayed. Especially after our very lousy stay in Grant Village inside of Yellowstone, this was the cherry on top of our travels. The whole vibe in Grand Teton is something else, and all of Colter Bay was perfect. The views right down by the lake are unmatched, and it was so nice having picnic tables there to cook our dinners. We went to the general store and bought some fun souvenirs at the other store. Had a coffee from the little cafe. Did a load of laundry at the super clean laundromat. Everything was top tier. The staff when we checked in were amazing- so kind, so helpful, and took so much pride in Colter Bay and Grand Teton as a whole. If we find ourselves visiting GT again, we will 100000% be coming back here!"
"We stayed in the Lodge. The stairs were a bit of a challenge, but the nice young lady at the desk helped us with our bags. The room had just been cleaned, according to her as she left our bags of outside the door and returned to the front desk. The vacuum must not have been used as there was a cherry pit and threads on the carpet in several places.
This is an older building, thin walls and single pane windows. The rooms are small. We faced the front of the building and could hear traffic (and a few jake breaks) all night. Then there were the dragging sounds and footsteps upstairs. We were told that there was no one above us, but I'm pretty sure I'm not crazy. A lady we met at dinner said they told her that the place was haunted, these were sounds of people. Granted it was windy, perhaps they need a new roof too.
Tom, the bartender was awesome! Great conversations and good at mixing drinks.
During breakfast, the coffee was luke warm. The meal was delicious. Our server went to make a fresh pot of coffee, and we heard her supervisor chewing her out. She told her it was a waste of money for the amount of people in the restaurant. There were 3 other tables, plus ours, occupied(total of 10-12 people). Everyone heard it. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. I mentioned this to the young lady at the front desk as I left.
I doubt we would stay there again."
"What a great place to stay. We were in the log cabin. Although it dated from the late 1800 era, it had everything you need. Plenty of hot water, a modern bathroom, full kitchen, comfortable beds and an amazing location.
Breakfast was ‘continental’ with a nice variety of items to choose from.
The lodge was also very comfortable and cozy. It’s also very unique in its architecture."
"Loved staying here and can't wait to come back again. Check in and check out staff were very nice and easy to talk to. Even though I live in Wyoming, waking up to the horses being wrangled was amazing! Beautiful area to look and explore! Shared bathrooms were overall clean and maintained. Offering one more bathroom would be helpful, mornings were a bit congested but I have been to facilities that it was much worse. Overall great experience for the whole family and recommended it to friends right after we left!"
"The outdoor space was beautiful. The room was okay. Very tiny space. It’s not comfortable for a family of 4. They should not rent their space out for a family of 4. It’s way too small. The restaurant was good but the prices were not. They nickel and dime you for every little thing. It was kinda ridiculous."
