Quiet lovely time out

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed to hang out at the two porches and the living room. The house was within walking distance of everything, which we really enjoyed. I would come back anytime!

Great Little Cottage in a Great Little Town

This was our third stay at the Blue Crab Cottage. We love the new look. We picked Blue Crab because we can walk to so many different places. This visit we never even took the car out- just walked to restaurants, stores and the beach. We love walking to the beach for sunrise and later, walking to the bay for sunset.

Great Spot!

The Blue Crab Cottage fit our needs perfectly. The location is convenient to everything and there is a great outdoor space to just hang out and unwind or play. The listing is very accurate, check in and check out are effortless and overall couldn’t be more convenient. We had no issues and never contacted or were contacted by anyone. We hope to visit again soon!

Cute cottage

Very cute cottage updated with amazing seaside decor! The pictures on the internet made it look larger than it was but we enjoyed it anyway. Our dog really enjoyed the fenced-in yard. Very helpful information about the area in the notebook for first time visitors.

We really enjoyed the cottage! It was clean and had all that was needed for a brief weekend getaway. The only downside was the dog next door barking every night around 12-2am. This is the only reason for the 4 stars. Nothing the owner could do! Loved Colonial beach despite the rain :-)We would stay here again!

Relaxation!

My very first vacation rental last year totally soured me on this type of situation. The Blue Crab Cottage has restored my faith! It was absolutely lovely. Adorable abode with lots of thoughtful touches

So much to appreciate about this place! From the convenient walking distance to the beach, to the cute and quaint accommodations, and all the sweet little touches of hospitality throughout, it was perfect for our group. Our Boston Terrier loved the fenced in yard and we spent a lot of time hanging out in the screened in porch. The ceiling fans kept the house airy and cool in all the rooms, and everything was adequately cleaned beforehand. Was also pleased there was no noticeable pet odor as typical with pet friendly environments. I would definitely stay here again.

Rug issues

Our stay was pleasant but not without issues. It’s clean and the bathroom was well stocked with nice towels. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are small though and without closet space making it difficult to put things away; mostly you have to work out of the suitcase. It’s an easy walk to the water. The biggest issues we had were the rugs. The corners of the porch rugs curl up making it easy to catch your foot and fall. The house rugs need something under them to keep them from sliding to avoid the threat of falling as well especially for older people.
