The ship moved from its place with our any annulment and they did not try to contact us about it, we spend one hour in the street trying to reach the new destination of the ship and it was so annoying

Dear Guest, first of all thank you for your taking time to rate your stay on our 5 star MS Charles Dickens hotel ship in Cologne ... We didn't changed our location last 2 years .... during the Trade fairs we are docked almost next to the Chocolate Museum in the South of Oldtown. Where all Bar's, Restaurants and the Sightseeings are located ... our view ... the Deutz, the fairground ... As we are an Hotelship, we have 5 Steigers in Cologne ,we are using two of them, the one in front of Musical Dome, the another Next to the Chocolate Museum ... best locations in Cologne ... The River on Rhine, have sometimes high water level, so we need to be flexible ... as we are docked on the river ... We are contactable via WhatsApp for better assistance, like location shearing or special requests ... We thank you for your choosing our MS Charles Dickens Hotelship and look forward to revanche you on our board. Kindly regards

Good Value For Money
Great Boat Hotel. Nice rooms, super clean, beds are good but could be better. The Bar and Breakfast were really nice. The service was always professional too. Overall a good stay but the wifi wouldn't work with iPhones!! You need to fix that ASAP.

Hotel is decent but not sure it’s the 5 star experience it mentions. Rooms aren’t massive but have all you need. The river views are great. For those worried about being on water, it is very stable, you don’t notice that you are on water. Location is great to be based centrally.

Good comfortable stay 2 minutes from the old town
Interesting being a river cruiser. Comfortable and friendly staff - end of season so only a few guests on board - no real atmosphere which suited me for a busy business trip.

Don’t recommend staying here
The reservation was made based on the appearance photographs of the hotel. Little did we know it was a boat on the water. We drove around the area for over an hour trying to find it as the navigator indicated it was just off the street (not on the side with the water/river). After asking a person we realized it was actually on the water. Anyway, after unloading our luggage we asked the clerk of the boat goes anywhere. They said no. So we checked into our room. Once inside our room we noticed about 10-15 long black strands of hair in the bed under the comforter. By the way, we’re both blond haired. Soooo.... about 5am I can feel the boat rocking. As we looked out the window the boat is headed up river. Shortly after we realized we’re moving we go into the bathroom and there is no water. None! We climb back into bed and wake up about 7 and find that the boat is docked now. But about 1.5 miles from where we boarded. Yes.....where we left the car in a park house. Moving right along, we hiked to the car and went back to get our bags and checked out. No shower, no explanation as to what happened. They did apologize.

Dear Guest, first of all we are so sorry because of the misshapen ... The problem was the high river level of Rhine ... Our Waterpump was connected on the docking place for your drink water on board, and where the river goes up, it destoryed our connection with the water pump ... Only this was the reason for moving and no water.. We moved just 700 meters left next to the chocolate museum ... was also directly in old town ... As we are a hotelship, we need your understanding our situation ... This kind of misfortune does not happen every day ... We try to offer our Guest an another business class accommodation then usual, and we are giving our best here .... We thank you for your stay and we stay with ... Best regards ... if toilet flushed it would have been a perfect ten
Location of boat was hard to find, no signs and inadequate directions. Toilet Did not flush properly. Nice interior and breakfast.

Un original barco-hotel
In hotel que es un barco con todas las comodidades. Recomiendo las habitaciones con vista al río ya que la sensación de despertarse rodeado de agua es incomparable.
