Charming and beautiful guesthouse sitting above the bustle of the downtown area. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, breakfast was delightful including fresh pressed orange juice. Easy check in, very cute room and a lovely terrace looking over the garden. I absolutely would stay here again any time.

If you are looking for a hostel, this is the place. It's a nice hostel, a clean hostel, but a hostel, nonetheless. I was not expecting to have to leave my room and go across the hall to go to the washroom.  But if that is what you are looking for, this is it.  I was looking for something that was more like a hotel, you know, TV, washroom in the room, and more.  I highly recommend this for people who do not like a hotel experience.  Enjoy!

Charming house. Clean, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and warm and helpful hosts. Location is high on the hillside so be prepared for a steep walk down and up again however an Uber is really cheap from the town centre. The local bar across the road is a must for a beer or vino while watching football.

This is a 5 star property - very beautifully designed room with velvet headboard, restored antique furniture and a huge balcony that overlooks their garden. 5 stars for location - a short 10 min walk away from the old town, though be prepared to walk down and up stairs as this is Coimbra 5 stars for cleanliness and the pictures are exactly what you get when you arrive, very well maintained home of Sonia and Jonah. 5 stars for the hosts who were warm, friendly and had a lovely breakfast spread of homemade zucchini jam, eggs, yoghurt and cheese… lots of options! Flexible luggage arrangements that allow guests to leave their bags earlier or later really makes it a convenient experience - hosts were also very responsive. If you are looking to stay in Coimbra, Vila Julieta feels like a boutique hotel with a warm touch.

Directions were easy to find, easy to access the building and our room. Quiet. Parking on the street only but we found a spot close by. Our host provided an excellent breakfast with fresh bread, pastries, fresh pressed juice, coffee, yogurt and offered to make us eggs as well. Very clean facility.

La vila Julieta est très bien située et permet de visiter les divers lieux d’intérêts à pied. La chambre est très confortable. Le jardin est un vrai oasis en pleine ville. Déjeuner varié et délicieux. Jonah et Sonia sont des hôtes très accueillants et sympathiques. Nous recommandons la vila à 100%!
