We had a 6 month old and requested a porta cot which did not fit in either of the bedrooms. We thought that we should have been made aware of this fact when we made our booking. There was no tongs supplied in the kitchen.

The property needs some attention. The first villa we were offered had a faulty fan in the bathroom that would not turn off.We were moved promptly.

The kangaroos were charming and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There were games to take for a rainy day and the beach was glorious!!

I liked the beautiful natural setting, the new bathroom, shower, toilet, the bed was quite adequate as was the outdoor sink. The fridge was good as were the cooking utensils The internet signal was too weak for me to use it. The noise from the trucks at night was the only thing that disturbed my sleep. The little heater supplied did not work but I just put on my coat.

Facilities were excellent. Staff were amazing, very friendly and efficient. Accommodation was good but a few little things like blinds didnt work. Cooking equipment very basic and certainly not non stick. Overall a fantastic place to visit and will be back.

We arrived at 1:45pm after 2 long days in the car driving from Melbourne. Checked in and found we had no power. There were signs on a few of the light switches about what to do if there was a power outage so that suggests to me that it’s a regular occurrence. No power means no air conditioner, no jumping pillows, no water slides. When I asked at reception how long before the power would be on I just got a shrug of the shoulders. It took me 2 minutes on my phone to find details of the outage. When I asked the manager if there was any chance of a refund (we’d been there for about 30 minutes) I got a flat no. Power came back on a 7:30pm! Grounds are lovely, beds were OK (a little soft). Place was packed but it is Summer school holidays. Nice place to stay, just be aware of the potential LONG power blackouts in Summer.

A great holiday resort with lots of paid and unpaid activities for both parents and children. We loved the natural setting of the holiday resort, particularly the kangaroos. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our only feedback would be the size of the pools and the spa in particular compared to the total amount of quests who stay at the holiday resort. It was difficult to get time in the spa as it was always full and mostly with children. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

Great place for the family
A great friendly place to take the family. Short stroll (or bike ride) to the beach. Good pools with two water slides (one to the shallow end for younger kids). No modern splash park for young kids but my 4 and 6 year olds really enjoyed it anyway. Two jumping pillows helps separate the bouncier kids from the more nervous. Kangaroos were an excitement for the kids. Cabin was spacious and well setup, electric BBQ nearby and plenty of trees etc to separate the cabins. Cabin was very clean except for a bit of mould around the tiles and window in the shower. One warning, as you might see on other reviews, the restaurant is poorly managed. We tried it one night (made our own the other nights), they took over an hour to realise they lost our order. By that time we had to leave due to the young kids bedtime (we did get our money back). Whilst waiting, the table next to us had at least one order wrong.The staff are nice but there is something seriously wrong with the setup as the restaurant was far from full. Free WIFI was a bit slow to connect at times. Note very limited to no 4G coverage. Overall, had a great time and will very likely be back.

The tent cabins were awesome! We had all the amenities along with a great lagoon view and easy walk to a peaceful beach. The local kangaroos were a fun site too.

Glamping At Arrawarra
My first time staying in a 'glamping '(lagoon safari tent) tent and it was great. Plenty of space, ensuite, we'll appointed and very peaceful, right on a lagoon. We got lots of wildlife visitors the next morning -kangaroos, kookaburra etc. As we were travelling through frim Brisbane to Sydney this wasn't far off the highway which was a bonus. I'd stay there again.

The family of kangaroos outside of our cabin was a pleasant sight every morning. Watching them forage along the grassy area, with their little joey bouncing along was surreal. The picture-perfect location, with the lagoon surrounding the property, was very "instagrammable", however we found the bugs at night were quite annoying.

Great holiday park for families
We stayed here one night on our family road trip down the coast. The property is very well-maintained and lush with lots of plants/palms. My daughter loved seeing all the kangaroos on our walk out to the beach (about 5 minutes from the villas). We stayed in a "palm villa", which was a very comfortable size for our family of four. Positives: good size, bathtub (great for bathing little ones), well-maintained, and clean. Negatives: interior was dated, bedrooms were a bit musty.
