Wonderful hotel in the center of Fort Kochi
Excellent hotel in the center of Fort Kochi. Christina and her staff are wonderful from check in and throughout. Great vibe. Rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable. Food excellent. Christina arranged massage and pedicure with her friend's salon. Loved this hotel. Highly recommend

Excellent boutique hotel with great location located at the city center,extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the friendly Sanitha and Christina. They both made my trip more interesting with their advices & tips about the city ,shops,restaurants are within walking distance. Sanitha sent me a car to Pick me up to the Cochin airport. She answered all the emails and reassure me not to worry as I was a female solo traveling. The breakfast was included and delicious!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

Fort Kochi Stay
Tissa's Inn highly recommended. The Hotel is situated in a great location for local attractions and tastefully decorated with antique furniture. All the receptionists were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. My room was clean well equipped, peaceful with a good AC, The food was delightful. Thanks Chef

A beautiful place to stay! This hotel is decorated with the most beautiful pieces. The staff are extremely welcoming and kind. They can help you arrange rides, exchange money, pick out saris from their in house collection, and give you local recommendations - they really made our stay! The breakfast was excellent with western and Indian options & enough to fill you. Rooms were furnished nicely with strong AC and comfy beds. You are a short distance from Jew Town (in an auto) and Vasco Square … great location. This hotel is great for families, couples, or solo travelers! I can’t wait to return!

The staff, particularly Sanita, Christina and the head chef, were exceptionally helpful. Sanita and Christina resolved several on-ward travel requests for us and were always super pleasant. The head chef always checked on our satisfaction with the food, which was very good. The location is convenient to walking all through Kochi.

I loved Tissa's Inn and would return any time . The staff are wonderful ; each and everyone . The Inn is spotlessly clean , quiet and just delightful. Very good restaurant and a very good chef . Excellent breakfast and many great choices for dinner. Sarnita arranged yoga for me , thank you he , too was wonderful. A delightful place to stay ; highly recommend Tissa's.

Small is beautiful
Very happy about our stay in this pleasant, little hotel - well placed in Fort Kochi. Only comments we have is the lack of a fridge in the room, and perhaps a bigger TV. Otherwise - splendid indeed!

Wouldn’t recommend it
The staff was very nice but I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s not good value for the money. The Internet connection didn’t work properly for both days we were there despite the numerous tries by the staff. The bathroom also wasn’t very well planned as there wasn’t a separation between the shower area and the toilet (so every time the shower was used there was water on the floor next to the toilet). If the hotel was priced around $50, I would say it was okay; but the price with taxes was around $150 per night which didn’t provide the expected quality for that money.

Our flight was 2 hours late. We arrived at 10 pm. An amazing dinner was waiting for 4 of us long after the restaurant had closed. It felt like home. So grateful to warm and hospitable staff.

Great base to explore the Fort Kochi area
Lovely boutique hotel, very comfortable with interesting artwork everywhere. Made use of the pool and adjacent spacious terrace. Enjoyed breakfast, and dinner menu looked appealing and well priced, but we ate out for the experience

Faultless stay at this lovely hotel. Tissa's Inn is a delightful establishment in the heart of Fort Kochi. The rooms are immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Individual antique items decorate the walls and spaces throughout. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful in every way. Trips and tours can be arranged through the delightful Sanitha and Christina. The food is excellent and a cookery lesson can be arranged with chef, Gerry. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Overpriced for the room quality. It was the little things eg no batteries in the remote for the tv, toiletries were so old the labels were missing. Hotel was ok but nothing made it special. The rooms were plain and we’ve stayed in hotels with much more character for less. Staff were really friendly.

Lovely staff, clean rooms and great decor. However, poor WiFi (you need to go to reception to get a better connection) and there is no fridge in the room though they can provide a cool box for drinks. Nice central location and lovely to have a small,pool on the roof for the hot days.

A good hotel but food could be better
This was comfortable hotel and the room was lovely with high quality furniture. The staff were attentive and helpful. We assumed from the hotels.com website that alcohol would be available in the hotel apart from on the first day of the month. However, this was not true. You can buy your own alcohol and drink it on the rooftop terrace but not inside the hotel. The food in the restaurant was OK but we ate at other local hotels that served better food.

I was very happy with the location and service. The pool is a nice amenity to have after walking all day. Breakfast is decent, although the one salad I had one night for dinner at their restaurant was not good, but I gave the feedback to the chef and he understood. The salad was supposed to have pineapple and it did not, when I brought this to their attention I was brought a bowl with huge pineapple squares and was tossed on top of it. Other than that, all good. I will be back to this hotel for sure.

Fabulous boutique hotel, excellent restaurant!
Tissa’s Inn is a unique hotel with spotless comfortable well appointed rooms, attentive staff, great location central to all Fort Cochin has to offer. The hotels decor is punctuated with antique furnishings, art, sculptures and interesting treasures creating a wonderful tranquil atmosphere. There is a bonus rooftop terrace with a pool, lounge chairs, tables and yoga matts. The restaurant meals were absolutely delicious. Jerry is a great chef and gave us complimentary cooking lessons each evening at our request. He modified ingredients for our dietary restrictions without compromising the Keralian flavours. The staff treated us like royalty, and met all of our needs with grace and style. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night. The room was very clean and had all the basic amenities. It's not a swanky hotel or boutique type establishment. It's comparable to a nicer Holiday Inn. Breakfast was full board. Easy walking distance to St. Francis church and Chinese fishing nets. Easy tuktuk ride to Jew Town.

What a cute place! They really created a gem of a place - small hotel, well maintained, staff is outstanding (seems like most work there for a long time), chef is character (will make you any dish you want), many people we met spoke highly of the place, one couple came here again after many years and ordered same dish. It’s well appointed and a lot is around. We took Tuk Tuk as we got sick over the course of the trip. But we could have walked to many spots. Noisy street but they build the place so that you cannot really heat anything. Only minus was that we did not have got water. But we needed it at a weird hour and we don’t think it is a recurring issue. Well decorated place with some antiques. Very reasonably priced for a place like this.

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel
This lovely small hotel is beautiful with an incredible staff and nice facilities in a great location!

A fabulous place to stay
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The pool area was lovely; pristine and very stylish. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional. Without exception, all were superb.

Very pleasant hotel and good value
The very friendly staff greeted us with a welcome drink and offered a room upgrade. The room was a good size and very comfortable. However, we were surprised that there was no fridge in the room which was a little inconvenient. The hotel has a small restaurant offering a selection of good southern and northern Indian food as well as locally caught fresh fish. The pool on the roof is a small but a very pleasant place to relax. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Chinese Fishing Nets and there are Tuk Tuks passing all the time. We took a Tuk Tuk tour that was really quite fun and showed us some local sites we would never have found on our own,

The stay was awesome. All the staff and receptionists were very friendly and maintained a good environment.As everything was going fine, the Chef Incharge of the restaurant was very calculative in serving. He would only serve one dish among all the options and if we asked for the second dish he would just not react and in fact stare at us as if we are staying there for free. He also would serve tea or coffee only once and if u asked for it second time then he behaved very badly. But all the other staff was very generous and helping.
