- Finally, a jungle home where the kids get their own room.
Venado is the newest and largest home at Feeling Trees Jungle Lodge, and the only one with two separate bedrooms, in Cabuya on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula.
It sleeps four across a two-story house with its own private entrance, a full kitchen for family meals, fiber wifi and a dedicated workspace, all in the quiet, green setting the lodge is known for.
It's the rare Cabuya home that has it all for a family: two real bedrooms (hard to find here), a jungle pool that's one of the very few in the area, and a beach you can walk to. The walk is easy enough for everyone, out to Isla Cabuya's tide pools at low tide.
You're in a safe, calm, nature-rich village beside Cabo Blanco, the country's first reserve. Monkeys in the trees, empty beaches, Montezuma's waterfalls 7 minutes away and Santa Teresa about 20.
Our team can arrange kid-friendly adventures: a gentle beach horseback ride, snorkeling, or a full-day boat trip to Isla Tortuga.
