CASA EL ARBOL
Provincia de Puntarenas
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (3 reviews)
"While the bungalows may be on the rustic side, it is authentic and functional - and the setting is absolutely unmatched. The small pool at the centre of the compound is a Costa Rican paradise. Renters ought to be aware that it is not located in the Montezuma town, but a 2-3 km walk up steep hills from the beach. Our group was able to do the walk, but many would find it difficult without a vehicle."

"The location was tricky to find based on the instructions. The check in process wasn't smooth and there was no information in the place about wifi code, where to put garbage, etc. The layout of the place was vey disconnected which is not conducive for a family with young children. It was also extremely loud at night from the traffic. The listing did not indicate how close the place is to the road. "

"Traveled all the way from the US to spend New Years with my wife’s family/relatives. Some of which I was meeting for the first time. I Received confirmation number from VRBO to stay at this property. After leaving San Jose, I had no WiFi while traveling to Montezuma. Upon arrival my wife & I were told that we had no room but the other family members were fine. First the Host blamed me for not answering her phone messages! After discovering I had no service, she then blamed VRBO’s for double...

"Gorgeous property., however, not very accessible and confusing directions. The owner, Mike, lacked in communication, multiple attempts to contact for confirmation, checking in and directions was frustrating. 40 mins prior our arrival he notified me via VRBO messaging that our room wasn’t available and moved us to a comparable room. This was extremely disappointing as the room we booked 3 months in advance was more private, had upgraded features (such as outdoor showers, larger bathroom and a...
