Our room was clean, but everything in it was just sloppy. The mattresses were basically cardboard, sunk in weird places, and the one of the frames was missing a leg and a wheel, so it dipped lower than the Dow currently. The shower was accessible and large, but someone had used enough bleach to dissolve body parts to clean it. One of the lamps didn’t work at all, and the bedding was probably older than my elder Millennial self, and was as threadbare as my will to live. The large windows were perfect although light sleepers might find it challenging with the sound of the trolley on the street below. All in all it was a lovely stay at what felt like a cute family hotel by the sea.
