"A good stay at this hotel. The lady on reception, Miriam, was very helpful, spoke perfect English and nothing was too much trouble. A very good nights’ sleep. A lot of people at breakfast but plenty to go round, and again, a very efficient service. Well done. Merci beaucoup."

"Very friendly welcome, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. But what Hotels.com doesn't tell you is that it's a business hotel and the restaurant is only open Monday - Thursday. Hotel closes early so there is no where comfortable to sit when you return. By early I mean at 7:30pm on the Saturday it was closed at which point you have to use the night entrance. The bathroom was great, good shower an accessible wet room, but it also included the wardrobe ????? The bed was too high at 90cm+ (I measured it) and I had to use a stool to climb into bed. No natural light in bedrooms due to overgrown bushes outside. So I'd say ok for a 1 night stay Monday - Thursday."

"Our annual family holiday is a special occasion. It’s also a bit of a risk spending two weeks in a place that you’ve never visited. Our tick list has evolved over the years, with our priorities now being an enclosed garden for the dogs, ground floor accommodation for the parents and a swimming pool. This property ticks all the boxes and much more. Aline was a wonderful host from the outset. Communication before we arrived was easy and our questions were answered. During our stay Aline was on hand if we needed her, otherwise she allowed us to keep ourselves to ourselves. The house is beautiful, typically French with the usual fixtures and fittings you would expect. We had a couple of criticisms, one that there were only two toilets for the whole property. The other that there wasn’t enough comfy seating in the lounge. That aside it suited us perfectly and we actually spent most of our time outdoors anyway. The garden is huge and ideal for two dogs that need exercise. The pool and surrounding area is stunning, a real bonus. The property is set in the grounds of a chateau, idyllic. We certainly loved the location and would recommend it if you are looking for peace and quiet. In the day you could hear the peacocks whilst at night the owls came alive. There is a lovely little town just a couple of miles away, with the supermarket very close by. We enjoyed exploring other local towns and villages by car and bicycle. "This is the second time we have stayed here for an overnight stop on our way driving home from Spain. Spacious apartment with cooking facilities, great when travelling with children. However, there has always been something broken. This year, the air conditioning unit leaked water all down the wall/onto the floor, the bathroom extractor fan didn't work and one of the bedroom lights was broken. In previous years the balcony door has been broken, not great when travelling with small children. This year, it was filthy underneath the beds and the bed covers smelt as though they had been put away when still wet. Despite this, the staff have always been very helpful and friendly. "
