Really lovely property run by people who obviously care. The hotel is at the top of a windy hill lane that opens out to a larger road, there is a very narrow lane to the right of the hotel (looking at it) don't take it as the car parking is on the other side and it's difficult to turn around. They hold a lot of weddings there as the gardens and facilities are very special, so sadly we got a lot of noise between 10.30pm and 1am. We took our little dog, who is usually very quiet but because people were running down the corridor outside our door and generally being inconsiderate , he barked a few times at them. Perhaps wedding parties could be kept to one side of the building and non wedding guests on the other? Just a thought. All in all it was lovely, the food was very nice, service was good, barman is very friendly and breakfast was good. Will go again but will check the wedding status first.
