Great accommodation for our annual fly fishing trip. Property was beautiful in a very secluded location on a mountain side. Owners were easy to communicate with and met our expectations.
Our stay was amazing! The house is beautiful with plenty of room to be comfortable. Everything was well-equipped for the stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the fast pace of everyday life. The view is incredible, and it's within a one-hour drive of some great places to visit. We would definitely stay here again!
Glenna was such a gracious host, we had a wonderful time! From meeting us on the drive in to showing us the house, she made us feel at home right away. Property is very secluded and provided the opportunity to fully disconnect and recharge. We will be looking to return in the future!
We came to Montana to fly fish and we really enjoyed staying in this house! It had everything we needed and it was very comfortable and cozy. The movie theatre room was super cool, the kitchen was great for cooking, and the view was stunning! Watching the sunset was beautiful from way up high!! The drive up to the house is steep, but the road was really well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect! Great communication with the hosts as well!
The property is truly majestic. If you're looking for a secluded stay in the beautiful wilderness of Montana, this is your spot. The drive up to the property can be a bit treacherous but it all so worth it once you make it. 10/10, would go back!
Our family had an amazing time. Absolutely amazing. The view is breathtaking that house is stunning and the host are wonderful. Next time in Missoula we will 100% be checking for opening here first!
We feel so lucky to have spent a week in this beautiful mountain home. We hiked, cooked, and enjoyed the company of our extended family. We heard live music at Kettlehouse Amphitheater as well. Highly recommended!
The Cabin is exactly as described. Very remote with incredible accommodations and even better views! Totally off the grid but had everything you could possibly need for the perfect vacation.
Glenna & Corey were very easy to work with and very responsive.
Cant wait to get back.
If you’re looking to see Montana.stars and have an unbelievable view of the mountains and totally be off the grid (but still have all the amenities like internet!) this is your place! Beavertail State Park is at the bottom of the mountain - kids played in the river there! Gianna was amazing, answering every question we had for our family reunion., totally going above and beyond on everything! Highly recommend this place to experience exactly what you would want to experience coming to Montana!
Beautiful cabin in a beautiful, secluded location. Description, photos and other reviews give a spot on representation of this property. The road in is a little daunting at first and though I would definitely recommend a true four wheel drive vehicle to get in and out our SUV rental did fine. The owners could not be nicer. They had great communication, were super helpful in making recommendations about the area and were a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend this property for someone looking to enjoy the seclusion of the Montana wilderness.
We brought our family to Montana for the first time for a “mini-reunion.” Corey met us at the intestate exit and showed us to the property. He went through all of the inner workings of the house and then left us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There was everything needed to cook, relax, and enjoy each other’s company comfortably. Definitely all needed for a worry free experience. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a rural setting yet still wanting to be close to groceries, Missoula, and fun activities. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much Glenna and Corey.
House is newly constructed. Pictures present an accurate image. Great if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but you can remain connected if you need to - the wifi/interent connection was excellent. We were a part of three adults, a fourteen and twelve year old and two infants. The house easily accomodated our group. The hosts were excellent. Answered all of our question prior t arrival promptly. Met us at check in to walk through the house. Very friendly and supportive. We definitely recomend it to groups looking for a mountain retreat outside of Missoula.
Our family met in this beautiful home from 5 different states to celebrate our daughters college graduation. The weather was beautiful during our stay and we loved being outdoors and exploring. The remote location was a welcome change from the busy crowds of Missoula during graduation weekend. Our hosts were amazing and the home has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again!
This is an amazing house and Glenna is a great host!
There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 teenage children) and we all thoroughly enjoyed this mountain home near Missoula. We spent a lot of time on the deck, drinking coffee in the morning and then watching the "Big Sky" at night. The home has everything you need and there were a lot of extras you don't find in regular VRBO stays. Glenna was extremely responsive throughout the process. We did not need to contact her during the stay because, like I said, it was perfection.
The highlights from our group: the views (day and night), being off the grid with the solar powered house, the kitchen, the master suite, and the deck where we spent most of our time.
Family/toddler friendly with modern appliances and beautiful, comfortable furnishings. The soaker tub was a real hit. Surround sound with a rocking sub-woofer in the theater room/bar blew us away and no neighbors to complain :) We used the game table at the bar for board games tried bumper pool. I took advantage of the smoker for a Fathers Day tri tip.
Great birding from the patio and hikes. Common sightings/voice ids: Western Tanager, Hermit Thrush, Yellow Rumped Warbler, Mountain Chickadee, Red Tailed Hawk, Bald and Golden Eagles
