Although a country setting, the cottage has all modern conveniences & comforts

  • Guests will enjoy a unique place in South West Georgia for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and a trip back in time to the "old southern traditions" of farming, plantations,
    food, and small communities.
    1) For those who love different types of entertainment: Tallahassee offers, concerts and sporting events, Thomasville "The City of Roses": a Victorian Christmas and rose parade in the spring.

    2) Lots of annual festivals in nearby towns such as Peanut Festival (Edison),
    Mayhaw Festival (Colquitt), Daylilly Festival (Adel), River Town Days(Bainbridge), Antique Car Rally (Cairo).

    3) For the women, you can still find a few treasures in the antique shops & boutiques in Bainbridge, Cairo, and Thomasville.

    4) For the guy's weekend, the Flint River boat ramp for fishing is only 5 miles down the road so bring your fishing gear and boat. Bass tournaments are held annually on Lake Seminole in Donaldsonville.

    5) For the avid hunter, there is deer, quail, and hog hunting....lots of opportunity for successful hunting trips!
