View from Pastures Lane The farmland in this area is predominantly arable these days due to the very fertile soil. In the distance is Ratcliffe Power Station.
Clifton Playing Fields Looking west-ish towards Southchurch Court.
The back of houses on Farnborough Road. The pair of houses to the left of the picture (largely hidden by trees) will be demolished to make way for the proposed tram route to Clifton which will pass just to the right of the camera position.. Prominent is the Southchurch Court tower block.
Fields near Silverdale (1) This view is looking east pretty well along the line of the proposed tram route to Clifton. It will pass close to the protruding fence at the left, then up to the distant hedge line. This marks the former Great central Railway line, onto which the tram will turn left and follow almost as far as Wilford Bridge.
Silverdale Walk The main footpath turns right at this point and crosses the Fairham Brook. Straight ahead the footpath rejoins the Clifton Estate.

Lovely location, slightly outside of city centre but being on the university grounds is lovely and quiet. The accommodation is amazing value too, lovely bar area and self serve check in was a dream.
