It was clean, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our grandchildren were able to pet and feed the horses which they absolutely loved. Susan was so gracious and kind. She took us on a tour of the farm on the golf cart. We were able to go down one of the walking trails to the river. She also showed us the other two properties which were just beautiful. Our grandchildren didn’t want to leave. We happened to meet the hosts the first day and everyone loved getting to meet the horses (what a treat). The lodging was perfect and well stocked. Owners was very friendly, gave us some great recommendations, allowed us to walk the property, and feed his horses. They provided carrots for the horses, wood for the firepit, and a s'more tray to make s'mores. The property has 2 other rentals, and has some hiking trails. The property itself was big and the kids spent a lot of time outside which is everyone’s preference. Although rain tried to interfere everyday, we made the most of it. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The kids loved the roaming barn cats and being able to interact with the ponies and horses. There were trails at the back of the property I would have liked to explore more but the rain prevented that. We’d love to come back.
