This is by far the best place we have stayed. Room for six of us to sleep, eat and enjoy the backyard, the house is spotless, well maintained and beautifully appointed. The view from the house and yard of the Lake is breathtaking. We played cornhole, made smores, and all settled in for a late night movie together. Very special place that helped make a special weekend spectacular. Thank you to Linda and Scott!

Beautiful location! Loved sitting on the deck where we ate most of our meals and enjoyed the sunsets Our 9 year old children were delighted with the Canadian geese that visited frequently. The sitting room with its many windows was another favorite spot.

Family Christmas

We are from Arkansas, but my son and 3 grandsons live in the Cleveland area. We got there in the evening and were delighted to see the home was completely decorated for Christmas. It is such a cozy home with a great kitchen, with a big dining table. It made for a wonderful celebration.

Family Thanksgiving Dinner

Comfortable, scenic and beautifully decorated. I usually buy floral arrangements and seasonal decorations when I spend time with family away from home but this home needed absolutely nothing. We had a great time hanging out with our close family members in Ohio. In addition, the home was close to major stores, malls and our family.

Exactly as described

Every part of the rental process worked perfectly. The hosts were extremely responsive, the house was clean and well equipped and the location delightful. We had hoped to find a place that provided a comfortable retreat in which to destress and refresh. It turned out to be exactly that. Quiet and private yet close enough to the restaurants, shops and "attractions". We found the Mentor Lagoon to be particularly fun.

Lovely place

This was a wonderful safe location. I would recommend it to people with children that are older so you don’t have to worry about them falling near the water. The view was stunning. We went and kayak and the mentor Lagoon, which was very nice. We also went to Mentor headlands Beach, which was very nice, the host had various nice touches like complimentary toiletries and snacks. Beach towels, and sand chairs. I would highly recommend this home. Thank you so much for a lovely day.

Absolute Perfection!

If I could rate this property 10 stars I would! The pictures are spot on and the cottage was absolutely sparkling clean. Our hosts made sure we had everything we could ever need including some toiletries! Thoughtful touches like tissues and paper goods, dish soaps and hand soaps, combined with a fully stocked kitchen, was such a welcome change from other rentals. The view is amazing and it was so relaxing to stare out over the water and watch the sailboats from those comfy Adirondack chairs. The deck was cozy and private with beautiful flower pots and lighting when the sun went down, making it a perfect spot day or night. We wanted a quiet waterfront spot to relax and unwind and we were totally blown away with the perfection we found here. Everything was clean and new and comfortable. And we can’t wait to return.

sweet little house

I chose this little house on the lake for a reunion. I brought my elderly mother to visit her elderly sister and neither of them are able to handle stairs anymore, although they are otherwise able to get around pretty well. The house suited us. It was tidy and cozy for three and has a lovely yard and view. There were very few negatives other than the midges which were everywhere but certainly not the fault of the house. Also, I misread the specs, and thought one and a half baths meant there would be a tub and shower, but there is no tub, and only one shower. Which was fine for the 3 of us, but would be tricky had there been more.
