Would come again tomorrow! (Late check in)

The service, room and food were lovely! Check in: This is my one and only criticism with our stay at the Sherwood guest house. Check in is advertised as 2.30. The day we came it was torrential rain and wind, so we fought to carry our bags there for 2.30, only to be told check in was more like 3.30-4.00. To be fair Rozanne did explain this was due to COVID measures of airing out the rooms, so we can understand, HOWEVER we should have been pre-warned. They did also kindly take our bags off of us and put these in our room when it was ready. Hosts: very polite, welcoming and approachable. They were just very lovely People. Room: very clean, simple and comfortable. Shower was lovely and hot, tea and coffee supplied. Breakfast: For everyone’s safety the breakfast Room is closed and breakfast is served in bed. This was actually really nice! Definitely recommend the hand made yogurt pot to go with your cooked breakfast! Delicious! (There is a table and two chairs provided in the room just in case you don’t want to eat in bed)

Nice Stay

Nice place to stay. Good breakfast. Had a nice seaview. The room was a bit warm, but they gave me a fan and that helped allot. Nice and helpfull staff. Would stay there again since it's good value for the money.
