Fantastic Christmas Getaway

We had an amazing time at the home! The size and layout was perfect for our family of 5 with young kids. The neighborhood felt safe and secluded, and there was plenty of snow to keep our kids busy. The home was very clean and cozy and was set with everything we needed for several days. It truly met or exceeded all of our expectations! We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Great fall getaway

We loved the view from this house, enjoying Mt Stuart from afar and then up close when we hiked to Lake Ingalls. The house is convenient to Cle Elum and many different hiking areas. The house and hot tub were great for after-hiking relaxation. Everything was clean and worked well. A great place to stay!

Great for a Girlfriends Getaway

A lovely home with high ceilings, and an impressive fireplace situated on a hill with a stunning view. The kitchen is on the small side in comparison to the home but reasonably well equipped. The house was clean with the exception of some cobwebs on the high ceilings and the shower in the primary bedroom could use some extra scrubbing along the sides and corner grout line. We would definitely stay there again.

An Exceptional Retreat

Our family stay at the Trailside house was wonderful. We would wake up in the morning and see magnificent sun rises. The house is spacious and beautiful; it is very well stocked and taken care of by the gracious owner.

Beautiful home and views!

This house was AMAZING with a beautiful backyard and views! My friends and I were on a 2 week multi-bday celebratory trip and this was at the tail end. The hot tub was perfect! About an hours drive to Leavenworth, very cool little town. 11/10 would stay again! Only note, check all the links for the check in process before you potentially lose cell service so you can access the property correctly. Google maps will push you to a gate you cannot enter from. Not owners fault at all, I did not check ahead of time!

Great Place Perfect Atmosphere

Nifty Fifty Celebration

This is my 2nd time renting this beautiful home. I rented this home to celebrate my 50th birthday with some amazing ladies! My party did yoga every morning on the patio; it was absolutely breath-taking to have the mountain range & alpine trees in our back yard. There are 2 hiking trails near the home that are easy to moderate. The hiking trails were great because we didn’t have to drive anywhere to explore. Contact the owner for the directions if you’re interested. The house is a very short walking distance to the swimming pool. The pool was sparkling clean and roomy for everyone. The pool was another amenity highlight. There was plenty of room for people to lounge in the living room, patio, and in the hot-tub. The outside dining table gathered everyone together for lunches and dinners. Beautiful memories were made over delicious meals, laughters, and conversations. The house was a fantastic retreat to celebrate my milestone birthday.

This house is stocked with everything you need. The beds are ultra comfortable with nice linens. The house is very clean. Communication with the owner was so easy. This house is nice and private with amazing views. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend!

Beautiful home, beautiful view!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home with our kids over mid-winter break. A perfect location to get out of the city for a few days. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. Loved the proximity to the trails for outdoor adventure and the views are incredible!

Great mountain get-away!

The house was super new and very nice! It's tucked away up on the hillside just far enough from the nearest town of Cle Elum with a great view of Stuart Mountain to the east. When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit and the place was cozy warm. The driveway (which is a little steep) was plowed, as well as the walkway to the front door, so thank you for that! Comfy chairs, couch, beds... new appliances... new hot tub... we were super impressed! Couple things that I had to reach out to the property owners about: the hot tub had no power when we arrived and was cold, so we couldn't use it the first night, which was a bummer, but it was a simple fix of checking the breaker and flipping it back on... so it was ready the next morning. Also, there was no printed material at the house to reference for things such as the hot tub, fireplace, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. which would be helpful in the event of no cell service to check the material provided via the VRBO app, which doesn't always work so great on my phone I've found. Not a big deal, but it's one of those things I've come to expect. Also, and this is an issue I find with many vacation rentals, there weren't as many hooks/hangers as there should be for a house in a snowy area w/ a hot tub. Just saying... Overall, the place was amazing though, and we'd likely return to check it out in the summer to take advantage of the National Forest land that sits right behind it!
