"It was a clean room and very friendly staff that were very helpful."

"For this class of hotel, this place is at the top end. Very friendly staff, and the gentleman at check-in (I think Jared) was very friendly and welcoming. Overnight female staff I saw early at breakfast each day was also very pleasant and attentive to the breakfast area. Clean room. Comfy bed with modern TV with some premium movie channels. Area is very quiet. Hot water and pressure in shower were excellent. About 20 minutes from downtown Lexington, and downtown Winchester is a cool and friendly little town. The only thing I would like to see is a fitness room but cannot think of a thing to complain about. I would stay here again for sure. "

"had to time at the day to take hot shower,no cover on heater-do not touch,no pop machine,heavy front door -needs automatic,allowing people that not guest,thin walls,hook up for headphones did not work- might of worked if had factory remote"

"I wish that I could give them a better review because the family that owns it was very friendly. However, this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The cigarette smell was so strong in the hallways and in the room we instantly had a headache and couldn’t breathe. All of our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. I had to ask several times if there was another room available finally they said that there was however the TV didn’t work and at that point it was 10 PM and I said that was fine. We got into the new room which was on the first floor and didn’t smell like cigarettes, but the sink had 3 inches of standing water filled with cigarette butts in it. The shower was ice cold, and the toilet paper dispenser was broken and had no toilet paper. I was able to find a roll elsewhere, but there was also no towels. They ended up bringing us new towels that were just purchased from the store with the tags on them an hour later. The breakfast buffet had bread, waffles and cereal, and we didn’t even attempt to go in the pool or hot tub for sanitary reasons. Lastly, there was suspicious people clearly living at the hotel and a loud party going on in the ballroom with people pouring out into the parking lot and noise very excessive. 10 out of 10 would recommend never staying here even if it’s the last option available. Go elsewhere!!!!!"

"A great place to stay "

"Great setting and close to things we wanted to do in the Red River Gorge area. The cabin sits on a hill surrounded by nature. We saw deer from the back deck and heard owls at night. It was clean and fit our needs for a few nights stay. Host was friendly and prompt making sure our stay was pleasant. Would stay again! "

"You are in the woods so there will be some bugs. The beds and couch are comfortable. Note everything is left when you leave the house. GPS is spotty. "
