Upon our arrival there was no reception desk and the restaurant was deserted. We eventually found the housekeeper who spoke no English. She told us no one was at the property and she had to contact the property owner. The owner said she did not have our reservation and after some discussion, the housekeeper led us to a cabin. We told her we were staying for a night and she was visibly irritated and unwelcoming.
After a few hours, another man came trying to check in. He had the same struggles, except he was turned away by the housekeeper despite having a reservation.
The property also seemed very insecure, there was no reception or security, the main gate was left open all night and our door would not lock. In addition, there is no phone reception nor wifi in case of an emergency.
The property is beautiful, the cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s the customer service that was lacking.
