"I have wanted the Halcyon to be worth the price and the hype. I've given it 3 tries- which I shouldn't have. The mattresses need to be replaced. You can feel where they are sunken in from previous guests. I felt like I was sleeping in a ditch. They flipped the mattress and I found a spot in the middle that hadn't been collapsed. The staff was friendly but didn't seem bothered by this. I couldn't sleep. I had the same issue last year and thought I had a bad room or maybe in that time things had...

"Unassuming mid century modern on the outside and warm, cozy, and well designed on the inside! The hotels didn't have any reviews, so I took a chance and I am so glad I did. Everything was wonderful - from the welcoming staff and delicious food to the cloudlike beds and quiet rooms. Will be back to visit friends this summer and plan to stay here again."
