"I wish I could give 6 stars. Virginia is a gift to travelers. She was so kind and inviting and set us up with so many welcome "treats." She had so many good suggestions on where to visit and what to do. The apartment itself is amazing. It is so comfortable and the setting is idyllic. Then there is Skye & Luna in case you miss your dogs as you're traveling. The stellar views do come at a slight price so be confident in driving up the steep roads as you approach. We truly hated to leave but had more to do & see in other areas of this wonderful country. "

"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property, we got the information that it was overbooked and that they did not have a room available for us, I made the reservation 30 min. before arrival. The receptionist's approach to the issue was not very nice, no apology and that I should have checked my messages, so it was my fault that I went to the hotel to check-in (?!). He reallocated us to a sister property with a lower star rating (Hotel do Paço by Vima Hotels) nearby which by the way was not nice and not even close to what we originally booked. They were not very keen in helping with the invoicing procedure, I wanted to get the difference in rate refunded and while I had to contact Expedia (who were very helpful) our presence was just ignored in the reception without even a glass of water. The receptionist from the sister hotel wouldn't wait for us, she was very rude over the phone with her colleague and left leaving the key in a locker. Having to deal with this after a full day tiring trip was not really what we expected. Of course, overbookings can happen in every hotel, that is not the point, the point was the customer service this property provided and the friendliness which just did not exist."

Stayed with are 2 children and their partners and made great use of the facilities - everything you could wish for in the kitchen, fabulous lounge area (always nice and cool), so many areas for al fresco dining … the list goes on! "If you’re looking for a restful holiday, in a delightful little property in peaceful picturesque surroundings yet close to many places of interest, I would highly recommend The property is extremely comfortable and has everything you should need. Property owner, Jose Carlos, is available and there to greet with a warm and friendly welcome. We were provided with an extensive interactive online brochure with lots of helpful information with regards to local amenities etc. which we found very useful. 10/10 from us!"
