  • Villa Olival Douro Valley is located in the heart of the Douro wine region with access to the Douro River, a World Heritage Site since 2001.
    It has an infinity pool with stunning views of the Douro River.
    A complete property consisting of a main house with 2 suites with WC w / shower, 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, kitchen, dining room and outdoor space with pool and dining area with BBQ.
    It is a family home, thought to the smallest detail, from the views, location, solar orientation and Feng Shui. Decorated with distinctive taste, refinement and luxury you deserve!
    It is located in a farm by the river planted and is composed of the main house.
    All of the spacious and comfortable suites offer views of the Douro River. They have a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer.
    The living room is wide stretching out on a balcony and terrace overlooking the River Douro, where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the cruises that go up and down the Douro River.
    The kitchen and dining terrace overlooks the river, bathing the service cook with a dream view. Includes all utensils, fridge, electric kettle, microwave, oven, grill, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and clothes.
    The outdoor area also has a dining area.
    Families and children will be very welcome.

Stunning location

Thanks to Sofia and Jose for a wonderful stay . The villa has everything you would ever need . It’s definitely 5 ⭐️ . Go to the local Tapas restaurant it’s only a few miles drive fantastic food very friendly owners.

Fabulous holiday house

Amazing house set in a peaceful and private location with breathtaking views over Duero valley. Photos just do not do it justice. We had the most perfect 2 weeks with our family. The house was very comfortable and home from home. Our hostess Sofia was extremely gracious, kind and attentive when required and very generous in treating us with the local samples of vintage port and various cakes which was much appreciated Thank you for opening your home for us to holiday!

We had a lovely stay here in August. The home is beautiful and the outside space with the pool overlooking the river was even better! Sofia and José were great and provided everything we needed, including some samples of the local wine! Great base for day trips to Porto or the many wineries.

Extraordinary good host service

We were 4 couples enjoying 5 great days at this wonderful place. The view from the house, garden and pool is just stunning. We asked about the possibility for a chef to shows us how to prepare Portuguese dishes in the kitchen at the house. The host arranged that and a chef, her assistant and the host introduced us to 13 different Portuguese disses. It was an excellent experience and we enjoyed the good traditional Portuguese cuisine. We will give the team our very best recommendation.

Le calme et l’espace

Le logement est spacieux et l’extérieur est très agréable avec le jardin, les terrasses et la piscine. La literie est confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire dans les salles d’eau (produits et linge). La cuisine est bien équipée mais la hotte est un peu basse. Nous y avons passé deux belles semaines ! Sur les conseils de la propriétaire, nous avons pu découvrir de belles adresses (restaurants, caves, monuments…).
