If you’re looking for somewhere in Weston-super-Mare that feels like a home from home, The Richmond is the place to be. It’s in a fantastic location, with plenty of amenities and great places to eat within comfortable walking distance. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth by the owner. His friendly nature and extensive local knowledge made my three-night stay even more enjoyable, with plenty of great suggestions for things to do and see. Breakfast each morning was perfect – spot on, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared and served, they couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was just right. On my last day, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners mother and her close friend, and we enjoyed a lovely conversation about the importance of good food and service – something The Richmond clearly understands and delivers. I have no doubt this will be my go-to place to stay whenever I return to Weston. Thank you, Richmond – see you again soon!"

"I was visiting a friend in Weston and booked to stay in a single room at the hotel, when I arrived I was greeted by Sam who took me through all the door codes I would need to get in and out and he told me he had upgraded my room to a double, I was only there for two nights so didn’t see Sam again. The room had a very comfy bed, tv, kettle and enough tea, coffee and hot choc to last a week, the toilet and shower were both very clean with 2 sets of bath towels and hand towels. This is a budget friendly guesthouse which was perfect for my requirements."

"Very nice, traditional hotel. Friendly staff: big, free car park and excellent location close to shops and beach. Can be noisy- rooms at the front overlook several bars which are loud, especially at closing. Rooms at the back have wonderful sea views but overlook the bar and outside area where weddings etc may be celebrated quite late into the night!"

"No food options, but was a room with microwave in you could heat some food in. Didnt bother me as we ate out anyway. Bed was very comfortable. We came back to the apartment at around 9pm. We watched a film on the tv (netflix already logged in), which was a very pleasent surprise. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. Was so nice to wake up to of a morning. Overall cleanliness wasnt the best but not that bad that we couldnt stay, we didnt take much notice. Only encountered one member of staff, the man who checked us in. He was lovely and helpful. We would stay again. Cheap ane cheerful. "
