Volleyball tournament
We had 9 people staying at the house 6 adults and 3 kids. The house was stocked with clean towels and sheets. Everyone slept comfortably. It was fine for the weekend.

Clean and organized place
Everything was great. Place was clean and fully stocked with whatever we needed. Updated kitchen and bathrooms and nice amenities. Only issue I had was the host didn’t send the check in info on time. I almost had to book a new place because I assumed he sent it and checked in very late. But he ended up sending it and all was well from there on.

Nice home. Inadequate beds.
Greeted by thistle lined walks, unmowed grass, stink of garbage. Kitchen was nice. Had a mostly good time in the space. Beds were an issue. One had no boxspring mattress sagged through the bed slats. We used it on the floor. Leg fell off futon had to be.propped up. Was very uncomfortable as well.

The house came equipped with towels, sheets, blankets and kitchen utensils. I had a party of 8 with me and everyone slept and showered comfortably. We utilized the kitchen one night for a home cooked meal. There is also an apple tree that I heard had some delicious apples. The home is located in a semi-woodsy area so At night the porch can get filled with insects, if the doors are left open flies will enter the home (hence the fly trap in the living room). The sliding doors upstairs and downstairs are secure but could use maintenance. Other than that, I would stay here again during my next trip to Cincinnati. Steven was accommodating and responded timely to any question or concerns that I had.

Nice Property, but not the cleanest
Overall, the property is very nice. Great location for us for a wedding in the area. A little trouble with the check-in process as I received the code to get inside the house later than we were told. The house was not the cleanest. Bed sheets had marks on them as if they were not clean, trash in the bathroom that was not cleaned up from previous use, and fly traps around the house with flys still in them. Overall, not a bad place, but it could have been cleaner.

Hi there! Just wanted to clarify that the max number of guests we can sleep is 14, but it is dependent on the guests. If there are several children that can share space, the number is 14. Dissatisfaction with the Accommodation
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the accommodation that I have received at your establishment. I booked a vacation rental through VRBO for a family of six adults and three children. Upon arrival, I was appalled by the condition of the property. It was not clean, and it did not match the description or the photos on the website. - The floors were dusty and dirty. We had to sweep them ourselves before we could unpack our luggage. - The kitchen counter was sticky and stained. There were crumbs and food particles on it. We had to wipe it down with disinfectant wipes. - The grill was not functioning, and it was very dirty. It had grease and burnt food on it. We could not use it at all. - A pan was rusted and dirty. It had food residue and rust on it. We could not cook with it. We also had to clean many of the good pans. - We had to purchase our own kitchen utensils, plates, cups, and napkins. - One of the bedrooms had only a box spring without a mattress. Another bedroom had only a mattress without a box spring. They were both uncomfortable and unsanitary. - The wash clothes and towels were stained and smelled bad. These issues made our stay very unpleasant and stressful. We did not enjoy our vacation as we expected. We contacted the property manager a few times to complain and request a resolution.

John, We definitely were disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. We strive to always make sure to accommodate our guests as much as possible; as we did with you by being responsive, understanding, and giving a partial refund for your inconveniences. However, I verify the cleanliness of the home after every clean, as I did before your stay here. Additionally, it seems the complaints about "dirtiness" are far more extensive in your review than they were in your communication with us. Furthermore, you were explained that the mattress you believed to be a box spring was, in fact, absolutely not a box spring. It is, however, a hybrid spring mattress, which is perfectly acceptable accommodation for sleeping. While we are still greatly upset that you did not enjoy your vacation as you had hoped, we did do everything we could to make it better for you, despite the fact that your biggest complaint in our communications (the mattress) was based on an incorrect belief. I spoke directly with our cleaner about your concerns, offered to have her come by the home to help clean anything you didn't find to be satisfactory and help with any other tasks that may need to be done to improve your stay with us, despite already verifying that the cleaning job was done correctly and adequately before your arrival. There are about 20 each of plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs, a multitude of silverware, cookware, etc. We provide all the essentials and then some to accommodate our guests. Dishes are cleaned after every guest. I apologize again that you did not enjoy your stay, but would like to make it known that everything that could be done to accommodate you was done/offered to you.

We are from CO and had a small family gathering while in OH. The house was great for this, nice deck and outdoor space, and very open areas in the house for a few 12-year-old kids to play (ping pong, fus ball, etc).

Trip to Cincy.
This place was perfect for us. There is a lot of space in the main areas, the bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice, as are the kitchen and upstairs family room areas. The downstairs family room area is even bigger. We were in town for an event at Xavier University. The freeways were very easy to get to. We’ll be looking for this property again when our event comes around next year.

The picture did not do justice for the home. Neighbors cools and nice. I had a family get together and it was excellent. The owner let me stay longer because it snowed and we had to shovel ourselves out. I will definitely use this home again.

Lot's of potential
This house has lots of potential but still needs work. The house is in a great area that is quiet and seemed safe despite being on a main road. Very spacious with opportunity to spread out. As other posts have mentioned, cleanliness is still an issue. While the 'high use' areas like toilets and showers were decently cleaned, there were still remnants of a recent bachelorette party around the house. Unfortunately we arrived to find the downstairs bathroom was out of order, and during our stay, the kitchen sink pipes leaked. Overall the house has lots of potential, but needs a little more TLC.

Great location with a lot of potential
This property has so much potential. It's in a great location and has a lot of room for a big group. It's listed as 3 full baths but only has 2, the third is a lavatory and the toilet leaked so we did not use it. It says it can sleep 10 but we had trouble finding bedding for10; sheets were in various closets, pillows in other places. Same with the kitchen - we finally found pots and a skillet in the back of a cabinet and burnt badly. No remote for the upstairs TV. We requested one and it came the last day we were there. The owner needs to hire a better staff to maintain and do upkeep on this property. I did request a partial refund due to the fact that there were only 2 full baths but heard nothing in return - it's been almost two months since our stay.

It was a suitable place for us for a short weekend. Marred by an power outage and a ton of beeps that continued through the night. Third bathroom was out of service. Trash cans outside were overflowing and unsightly. We've stayed in better.

The home worked out good for us. The cleaning company didn’t do a good job but the property manager was going to address the issue. The house is on a main road but we felt very safe. Lots of stores and restaurants close by. The home is large so lots of room to spread out. I would stay here again.

Nice Location but Poorly Cleaned
This house has a lot of potential but the owner needs to step up his game in order to entice me to stay here again. I have stayed at a lot of houses all over the world and this house by far was probably the dirtiest. Bathtub in secondary bathroom was not cleaned. Damp towels were folded and put away. Dirty washrags were left in a drawer and in the sink. Dishes were put away dirty and completely dried. Washer and dryer area was slovenly. Dead bugs were in windowsill and the house reeked of a combination of smoke, wet dog and dead mouse. Refrigerator smelled like fish. Mirror in en suite bathroom was streaky. Dishwasher worked on and off. Owner was responsive to messages but did not apologize for state of house nor offered to make amends. Luckily, we were out for most of the time while we were here. The only positive I have to say about this place is it was in a central location close to many amenities.

Very nice place to host a birthday, but with concerns…
This was my first VRBO that I’ve rented. And the check-in was very simple! I checked in and the house was clean for the most part when I toured the whole house. There were a couple nails dropped on the carpet which was dangerous so I’m not sure if the place was fully vacuumed. The master bedroom door was hard to shut so you had to put a little “umph” in closing it. Eventually, when opening the master bedroom door, the top and middle hinge completely came off the frame.. I communicated with the host and they apologized. Luckily a friend of mine had tools in his car (he works in construction) and fixed the door better than it was before. I tried using the shower in the master bedroom but only the bottom faucet worked and the shower head wouldn’t turn on. Instead, I was going to take a bath in the master bedroom and turned on the jets. There was black funk that came out of the jets which was disappointing. So I wasn’t sure if the cleaners cleaned the jets in the first place. This all happened the first night before I hosted my birthday. Then the front door nob popped off when we opened the door to get pizza from delivery… Not too sure how that happened. My same friend that fixed the door tried fixing the door nob but no luck on that. The dishwasher was also broken, but the host provided paper plates and silverware and even offered to buy us breakfast or dinner for that issue. I only asked for ground coffee because we forgot to buy some for our trip, and they delivered Folgers coffee as well as Starbucks creamer which was a nice add-on! But, as visitors, we shouldn’t have to worry about the house falling apart and fixing it. Although these incidents gave us a laugh because it seemed a little odd these things were happening. But the host communicated with us the entire time and apologized multiple times. They even refunded one out of two nights and let us check out anytime we wanted to, on our check-out day. So I really appreciated that. Although these incidents were happening, it was extremely hard to find a VRBO that would allow me to host a birthday and invite 10 extra guests without charge; so I’m just overall happy that I was able to find a VRBO that allowed that. Thank you for our stay, I do hope you find better services to fix up the house a bit to give future visitors a better stay!

Large & Close to Everything
Best things I liked: Large kitchen, dining and living space. Fridge had filtered water and ice. Bathroom attached to master bedroom (new too). Bunkbeds in one bedroom. Grill was nice to use. I felt safe. TVs in basement and living room are nice. Lighting was good. Beds were fairly comfortable (although low to the ground). Happy to have access to washer and dryer. Things I did not like: Only one small trash can in kitchen with only one trash bag for 5 days. We were a family of 7, (5 of which were kids). We had to use our grocery sacks for trash throughout the week, and piled them up with trash that was already stored in the garage. Dishwasher was broken and did not work. Only one kitchen towel. (Owner sent three more kitchen towels through door dash immediately when asked so we could hand wash our dishes). Basement futons not comfortable for sleeping. Basement bathroom sink leaked terribly underneath. Basement carpet had very large dirty spots. No curtains or window coverings on any of the open spaces (basement, living room, kitchen, dining). Two of my kids slept on the couch and felt weird with no curtains. Used jets in master bath and black grossness came out of them (would not suggest using the jets). Very few cooking supplies. Basic small set of pots and pans, but very few. We planned to cook more than we were actually able due to limited cook wear. Coffee pot was very small, and only made 5 cups. We had to make multiple pots each morning.
