La Castellana near Treviso Venice and Prosecco Hill with private pool

La Castellana is the result of a meticulous restoration that began in 2006. It was originally a barn belonging to my paternal grandparents, and a wall made entirely of Piave stone, dating back to 1700, was discovered there. The decision to renovate the farmhouse using natural materials—such as clay, wood, and stone—has created a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, with particular attention paid to the harmony of colours and the continuity between the interior and exterior.
The property is located in the Venetian countryside, near the Piave River.
consists of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, accommodating a total of 13 people, as well as a spacious living room, kitchen, and laundry room.All rooms have double beds, and each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower. Some rooms have a terrace; one room on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible; and on the top floor is the attic, which has 3 double beds.
The property is surrounded by a well-maintained garden; at the back, there is a vineyard with a swimming pool (10 x 5), a gazebo, lounge chairs, and a barbecue.
The village is very quiet, yet everything is easily accessible by road: Treviso is 20 km away, Venice is 30 minutes away, Padua is 40 minutes away via the highway, and the sea is 40 minutes away.
It’s in a great location for exploring the province of Treviso and beyond, while still allowing you to come back and relax.
Also recommended as part of a cycling tour… I suggest a ride through the Prosecco hills and a visit to Villa Maser!!
