"Really friendly helpful staff. Cute little hotel. Very good food. Lovely pool area with comfy loungers and beds. We only stayed one night. Nothing else in the area so would need a taxi to go anywhere. Perfect for a short stay."

"Unfortunately we didn’t hear from the host before the stay, and when we arrived we were left to follow the address on the app which led us to a totally different location 10 minutes’ drive away. We then had to call up and finally were sent a pin, which wasn’t a great start.The apartment itself was on the top of a few others and it wasn’t ready when we arrived – cleaning was still taking place. There was a road directly outside which we didn’t realise but it was quiet. The view was lovely and nicer than it looked on the pictures. It was clean inside and out and the beds were comfortable. There was also a sofabed. The kitchen was generally well stocked with good facilities but it would have been good to have some plastic glasses. The pool was small but good to play in with kids and cool off in. There was no shallow end but adults could stand up all the way along.One of the apartments downstairs had a hot tub below the main bedroom and this was quite busy and kept us awake one night but when we texted the host that stopped. There were lots of wasps outside attracted by our meals which was a shame. We did ask if there was repellent but they didn’t seem to have any. There was a nice bakery about five minutes’ walk along Vliho Bay and some tavernas but we generally drove if we went out for dinner. We found some great tavernas – Dimitris and also Hippocampus (more expensive but worth booking with a lovely view). We loved the island. Hiring a boat from Nidri was a highlight."

"My fiancée and I had the most incredible holiday at Perantzada in Ithaca. It was our first visit to Greece and we already want to go back! Vathy is a gorgeous town and the people there are so nice also mentioning the gorgeous restaurants and landscape. Big shout out to the hotel staff Katerina, Aris, Boris, Alketa, Vera and Elvina for making our time so special. They were so welcoming and always remembered personal touches which was so special! The food, drinks and rooms were all incredible! Poolside evening wines were another highlight. Not forgetting our favourite Paloma, the hotel cat who is a lovely addition and we already miss her so much! If you visit Ithaca, definitely recommend staying with the lovely team at Perantzada 😁"
