"We LOVED every moment of our stay! It was like a living dream! From the beauty of the villa, property and lagoon! To the amazing chef and his team! "Very pleasant outdoors, good food, excellent pool, comfy beds but.. no air conditioner! That was a big let down in the tropical, him I’d weather of Quintana Roo! Our room did not have mosquito screens in door and window, so we couldn’t even have some outdoor wind moving around the room. It was a rough night."

Beautiful and serene

"Such a gem of a property, and exactly true to photos. I love to find unique places to stay and this choice was it! They tended to our needs quickly, and even came and cleaned and filled the pool while we were there so our boys could use it all day. The only fallback is it is 30 minutes away from Bacalar, so if you don't have plans to cook on your holiday (that was me) it is a bit of driving. But if you stock up with fruit from the road stands and some food before arriving, you will be glad to stick around the villa if you don't want to leave a lot. Great restaurant recommendations left by the hosts, and we enjoyed the Lagoon Rapids too."

"The villa was in a private garden with a wall for security and parking inside the wall. A suggestion for improvement would be to incrrase the water pressure for the outside showers as it was difficult to wash my hair in the weak stream of water. Also a bigger, more prominent sign to show where the villa is located. There was a big tree stump at the corner where it caused a hazard when returning to the villa after dark with limited lighting. We drove into the stump and damaged the underside of our truck. It really should be cut off at the ground level for safety purposes."
