"A cute, clean experience in a typical Japanese Ryokan! The onson was lovely even though its in the basement with no view. Oddly, there were very few restaurants on the island open for dinner. We did find an excellent local one. The beat part was the view of the harbour and hike and tram up the mountain!!!"

"The hotel offered exceptional service in all areas. My one qualm is the way the staff would talk in English regardless of my wish to converse in Japanese. Having come to Japan to immerse myself in the language and culture, this was disappointing. Aside for this, no complaints can really be made and I would not go as far as reducing the overall score based on this."

"Conveniently across the street from train station. Good for a short stay but not much community building with others — lobby is separate entrance from dormitories."

"Upscale hotel 2 minutes walk from Okayama Station. Staff helpful and trying to please. Good sized room for Japan. Good work desk, with wifi and lots of chargers/plugs. Kettle and coffee mean among the amenities. "

"It near the JR station, got ice cream and Yakult in lobby. Free ramen at night. In room fridge also have gift pear jelly and water. Will stay again in this hotel."

"Good hotel. Only strange thing is there was always music playing? At first I thought it was a guest, but I think it was playing in the hallways? I just played some white noise and drowned it out. Otherwise good stay, just needed a clean, safe place to sleep."
